Cathodic Protection - Polarisation Cell

Cathodic protection techniques use electric currents to protect metal surfaces from corrosion. Pipelines and tanks are connected to a polarization cell that is then connected to an earthing network or copper earthing rod to prevent corrosion through the application of electric currents. Cathodically protected tanks must be electrically earthed separately or connected to the earthing network via a polarization cell for corrosion control.
