SELF EVALUATION QUESTIONS
1) Define your most important accomplishment relevant to your position
Ans: I believe that during the past quarter I have demonstrated strong teamwork skills. I have
effectively collaborated with my team as well as I have shown my ability to work on different types
of roles.
During team meetings, I have shown confidence to express my creative ideas and opinions that
added value to the team discussion.
As a team POC for a month I tried to interact with team got know more about them. During this
time, I helped my team members to understand new roles and explain same to Engineers. I am
doing this now days as well, whenever they need my help.
During this time, I found few of our recruiters doesn’t know much about the Desktop and Network
Support, roles and responsibilities, so I help them to understand it.
During my time with ABC I have effectively negotiated service pay rates and brought good Field
Engineers to the business. I believe that my analytical character and strong people skills allow me to
be in control during the meeting calls and direct the manner to achieve results.”
Throughout my time, I have demonstrated high levels of self-management and motivation. I
continuously manage to meet deadlines and finish my responsibilities in a timely manner.
2) Define your biggest challenge faced while working and what were the steps you performed to
overcome it.
Ans: While working as Recruiter, sometimes It is very difficult to communicate with engineers who,
can’t understand English, so to overcome this, I prefer written communication
I tried few questioners that help Engineer to communicate and understand the process.
I always try to be friendly with Engineers to build trust and good relationship with them and I also
try to motivate them to work with ABC .
3) Define the area you consider that you should improve and your improvement plan.
Ans: No one is perfect, and it is very important to accept change and work accordingly. I can say few
areas like communication, time management need continuous improvement. As we are working
worldwide, it is very important to know more than one language. As there are so many countries
like Mexico, Argentina, Spain etc. they do not use English as there second language. So, I am
planning to take Spanish classes to learn a new language so I can communicate with engineers
smoothly.
Time management is a skill that also need continuous improvement, so I am working in this
direction as well
4) How good and comfortable are you at taking initiative at work which is not assigned to
you but it is important for the team.
Ans: During my time with US staffing industry, I learned a lot about the US VISA, and working
conditions and I always try to share my experience with my teammates and it help them to
understand USA VISA status and also help to explain FE about our work process.
I also try my best to solve FE problems and try to connect them with best department who can help
them.
I also share submission form with team that help us to highlight important info about the engineer.
5) What drives you to your work and how do you get the job done and what keeps you
motivated during the testing time at work.
Ans: Able to connect with different people, always motivate me to work, I love to talk to people and
I wants to know more about them, so It always motivate me to recruit new people in different areas
of our beautiful earth.
I believe change, so every time I try to connect with engineers with different approach, I always
looking for new web sites where I can post my job and new methods of getting connected with
Engineers.
Recently, I created a Facebook account and now I am building it like a tool for APAC, in this account I
am connecting with new groups and sending friend request to people who are working as a Desktop
or Network Engineer.
It is really working, recently I posted one freelance position for Faridabad, UP, India location and in 2
hours I got one candidate who is local and wants to work as freelancer.
It also helps to find few movers of a ticket in Sydney, Australia. And I really think this will help me in
future as well.
I also found few WhatsApp groups online that help me to connect with Engineers in India and USA.
6) What skills do you have that you believe we could use more effectively apart from your
current position?
Ans: During my experience in US Staffing and India Recruitment I got chance to work on following
roles and I want to use these skills in ABC as well, they are as follow:
1. Team Lead: I really want to use my Leadership skill and help my team.
2. Training Office for new Recruiters: I use to train new recruiter and help them to understand
recruitment life cycle and about US VISA
3. Onboarding Executive: I also have experience with Onboarding, background check. I also help
our onsite engineers
7) What kind of work comes easiest to you (tickets, projects, APAC/EMEA/LATAM shifts)?
Ans: In last 11 months I got chance to work in months LATAM and EMEA shift and in APAC I worked
for one month.
I can say all shifts are equally important and easy and difficult at same time. Aa recruiter I always
gave my best to recruit new engineers in all shift.
Due to my experience in USA and India staffing, I can say USA and India is comparatively easy for me
to recruit candidate then EMEA.
But in 11 months with ABC , I worked on projects and tickets.
Tickets attract me and challenge me to use my recruitment experience and I love to accept
challenges, so I really wants to work on tickets as well.
Projects challenges me to use my time management skills and it really excite me to work on projects
and motivate me to work every day.
8) What changes do you see in yourself or the skill set which you possessed while you
began working to the skill set you possess now. Elaborate.
Ans: Was not aware of Freelance work culture and I used LinkedIn before but not at this scale, with
ABC I got chance to understand Freelancer mind set and ABC gave me chance to improve my
LinkedIn Recruitment skill. With LinkedIn Recruiter, we can connect with people all over the world,
this is the only tool that have this much wide range.
I used to work on portals like Naukri.com, Dice, Career builder etc. But those tools are limited to a
country, but LinkedIn is worldwide.
9) How do you think your role helps the company succeed?
Ans: In ABC ’s business a recruiter is someone who help our company to support customer on-site,
on time.
Faster recruitment drives a snowball effect of benefits to our company’s performance.
Hiring Freelance and Full Time Engineers on time help us to reduces costs, improves candidate
experience, and supports our customers on time so also improve customers satisfaction.
Recruiter also help in company branding and marketing, as recruiter is the first person who show
company profile to engineers.
10) What are your work ethics? Would you like it to be inculcated by the rest of the team?
Ans: I strongly believe on following work ethics:
a. Honesty
b. Work as a Team: I love to work together, help each other, and achieve goals together is my goal
c. Follow the rules: Rules help us to work in one direction and I believe in rules
d. Discipline: I try to be on time and do my best to achieve it.

Ans: As I am not monitoring any one’s performance, so I can’t say anything about team
