CS423: Data Warehousing and Data Mining

This document provides information about a course on Data Warehousing and Data Mining taught at the International Islamic University Islamabad. The 3 credit hour course is taught on Mondays and Tuesdays online for MSc and BS students in Physics who have taken Mathematical Methods of Physics. The course objectives are to introduce mathematical methods used in physics like Fourier transforms, Laplace transforms, and group theory. Upon completing the course, students will be able to apply these methods to solve differential equations and use transforms in signal processing. They will also understand group theory applications in crystallography and tensor analysis applications in materials science. Student work will be assessed through quizzes, assignments, a midterm exam, and an end of semester exam
