Tech Hunt 
 

About 
Technical  Treasure  Hunt,  one  of  the  most  exciting  events of CEREBRO, would be 
based  on  various  aspects  of  programming,  crypts,  technology,  logic,  pattern 
finding  and  hunting  for  the  clues.  The event will be a ​multi-stage event​, (at least 
3  stages)  with  successful  completion  of a stage leading to the next stage (plus a 
bonus  stage  unlocked  with  hints  hidden  in  each  stage)  with  answers  in the form 
of  any  technical  glitch,  error,  anomaly,  logic.  It  will  be  a  ​team-based  event  of  5 
members.  

Rule and Regulations 


● Only 1 member has to register on behalf of a team. 
● A team must contain 5 members. 
● The time limit of the event is 120 minutes. 
● Only one Smartphone is allowed per team during the event. 
● Teams will be registered on First Come First Serve criteria. 
● Registration will be confirmed only after reporting to event coordinators on 
the day of the event. 
● Any  kind  of  communication  with  other  teams’  members  will  lead  to 
disqualification. 
● 1  PC  will  be  provided to each team with uninterrupted internet access, use 
it wisely. 
● On  reaching  every  correct  checkpoint,  your  team  will  be  awarded  points 
based on the round. 
● Every 404 error will lead to deduction of points. 

● Any  activity  that  is  against  the  decorum  and  dignity  of  the  event  or  the 
Tech  Fest  will  lead  to immediate cancellation of the candidate and her/his 
team from the event/fest. 
● Any  damage  to  hardware/software  provided  to  your  team  may  lead  to 
disqualification and payment of damaged cost.

● Hints can't be availed for the last checkpoint. 


● In  case  of  any  disputes,  the  decisions  of  the  organizers  are  final  and 
binding.
