There is, 

there’s and there are
We use there is and there are when we first refer to the existence
or presence of someone or something:
There’s a banana on the desk.
There are three apples in the basket.

A/an, some and Any

 We use a/an in affirmative and negatives sentences and


questions with countable nouns in the singular.
There is a banana.
There isn’t an apple.

 We use some in affirmative sentences with countable nouns


in the plural and with uncountable nouns.
There are some apples.
There is some milk.

 We use any negative sentences and questions with


countable nouns in the plural and uncountable nouns.
There aren’t any apples.
Is there any milk?

 We use some in offers and requests.


Ex. “Would you like some milk?”(offer).
