INTRODUCTION
A 'competency framework' is a structure that sets out and characterizes every individual
competency, (for example, critical thinking or people management) needed by people
working in an association or part of that association. The elements considered in the
competence framework are competences/ies, competence clusters, levels of competence and
indicators. An individual self-assessment can give insight into students, actual comprehension
and can assist with distinguishing gaps in student knowledge. Urging students to look at their
own learning and levels of comprehension can likewise be a significant 'reminder',
recognizing areas that require improvement. Coming to the personal development plan
(PDP), it is a documented plan that outlines your goals, what strengths to achieve those goals,
and what skills you need to improve areas of weakness. In detail that guides you throughout
your journey to successfully reaching your goal. The competence framework used in the self-
assessment and personal development plan is the PMI framework. The PMI competence
clusters has 3 dimensions- knowledge, performance and personal. Coming to the
competences, performance competencies relate to project stages whereas the personal
competencies relate to behaviours, attitudes, and personality characteristics.
