HUNTING
Hunting is a topic that has open many discussions and has many point of view but it is not
really clear is it is good for us or it is simply a free time activity that, the nowadys
“animalists”, see as a unconcious kill of animals.
It is my belief that hunting helps the environment. Hunting is very natural. Today the most
animals that get hunted are deer, birds, wild pigs... Some see hunting as a natural way to
cull the herds of prey animals that as result now produce beyond the environments carrying
capacity. Hunters keep wildlife population balanced. When the animal population is not
control it can cause herd starvation, accidents with humans and other environmental
hazards.
Some people feel that hunting is bad. It could be, if it is not regulated. Herds of endangered
species should not be hunted. People pay a lot of money to hunt endangered animals and
that is not okay. Animalists opposes any type of hunting. They feel that hunting causes
immense suffering to individual wild animals. They feel it is cruel because unlike natural
predation, hunters kill for pleasure. This people feels that beyond moral issues hunting is not
practical. Some wild animals require the minimal sustenance and do not require herd
population control.
All in all if we begin this controversial disscusion we can balance two very different points of
view that can take into great deals which sometimes cause controvesy. In the one hand
some people believe that hunting is the worst thing ever done, that no animal should be
killed not for fun but either for eating, so their philosophy is that every animal has to be
considered as a human an no one has the right to kill though. On the other hand some
others guess that the main purpose and the main aim of hunting is to use it as help to
control the species that nature is not able to do so. Moreover, it is usuallly very usefull in
some places where this animals can be herds and can get into cities due to the little amount
of food or place to live in, and this is caused because the high number of individuals that
inhabit in that area, so in this aspect hunting is needed to maintain nature in bal
