CL Performance Task (Finals)

The document discusses the gospel message of Christianity. It begins by recounting the biblical creation story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and their disobedience which distanced them from God. It then explains that Jesus sacrificed himself to save humanity from sin and offers salvation and forgiveness to all who repent and believe in him. Finally, it defines the gospel as the good news of God becoming man through Jesus to die for our sins and rise from the dead, proving he is the Son of God and offering eternal life as a free gift through faith alone.

THE GOSPEL
Did you know about it?

ALESSANDRA B. VILLAHERMOSA

If you do not know about

the gospel I am not here to
judge you instead, I am here
to share about it.

"You will seek me and find me

when you seek me with all your heart"

Jeremiah 29:13
04

In the beginning...

God created the heavens and the earth.

GENESIS 1:1

Genesis 2:7
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the
ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,
and the man became a living being.
It was the first man, Adam and the first Everything was perfect in the garden;
woman Eve that God created to rule over They were in complete harmony with the
the garden. God told them they could eat land. They have a wonderful relationship

garden, except the Tree of the Knowledge relationship with God.
of Good and Evil.
Until, they decided to defy God by eating
from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and
Evil. It also caused them to become distant
from God.

Genesis 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave
his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life. 07
Jesus Christ lived the life we should have lived
and died the death we should have died. He
sacrificed his life on earth for us, sinners.
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the
righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to
God. He was put to death in the body but made
alive in the Spirit."
1 Peter 3:18

After what Jesus Christ did for us, we, sinners are still
rebelling against him. We are very tempted by earthly
things though it does not give us everlasting peace and
eternal life.

We must not let these things ruin our

healthy relationship with God. Our trust and faith will
be rewarded with spiritual strength, love, knowledge,
and peace
WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?
The term gospel means to bring or
announce good news and it is a gift of God.

It is the death, burial and ressurection of Christ

(1 Corinthians 15:14)

07
WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS?
The Gospel is the good news that God became man in
Jesus Christ.

Jesus, God the Son, took on flesh, became a man, and suffered the
penalty we deserved. We were guilty, yet He was righteous. He
did everything to save us from our sins.

Three days later He rose from the dead, proving that he is the son of
God and offering salvation and forgiveness of sins for everyone who
repents and believes in Him.
10
Let us praise, trust and give thanks to Him. Everyone
who trusts in Him alone will have eternal life. The
eternal life is a free gift given to us by God through
faith alone and not by any of our good deeds
Ephesians 2:8-9

Thank you for your time! Do not to hesitate to share
