Proposal
Theme:
It is a story of a narrow-minded boy with very strict beliefs about his religion and the story
explains his journey through the judgement day and how it changed his views. The boy
strictly followed the teachings of his parents and remained in the boundaries of his
denomination and he believed it would make him a true Muslim. He had a set of values
which if not followed would make one burn in hell. He was not even ready to stand any
opinion against his indoctrinated beliefs or his values He refused to see the big picture
because of being sheltered and close-minded. His life turned upside down when he saw the
people he thought to be sinners in Jannah and his Imam before which he used to offer prayer
was found in hell. This thing shook him to the core of his heart that he misjudged others and
his beliefs may not be entirely correct . And a thought came across his mind that instead of
associating others with hell or paradise on the basis of his limited knowledge , he must have
embraced others' ideas and opinions to find the truth.
Inspiration:
This thought has always attracted me that what if the religious teachings borne into my mind
aren’t true. Maybe it is because the religious teachings are coming from our so called Mullahs
who themselves are involved in despicable affairs. We human beings have always been asked
not to raise question on our religion. How are we supposed to get to the ultimate truth without
questioning? There are total 8000 Gods worshiped worldwide. What if the God you are
taught to worship is not the one which created universe? I always have been admirer of
movies regarding soul searching and God. Movies like “Pk,””The Man Who Sued God” and
“Life of Pie” inspired me to write that how false beliefs could affect a person and one could
only find truth through research..
Tone:
I would use serious use tone to draw readers into stories, to arouse their emotions and
interest and to guide their reactions to particular character. The font used will be Century.
Content:
The genre of the story will be fiction. Light on the life after death would be shed that one
should do proper research instead of following others blindly. Fictitious concept is used in
order to make people understand the fact that each of their beliefs may not be true.
