Job Description
The Travel Agent (1 senior and 1 junior) we are looking for will have to be passionate
about travel, will have to manage business or vacation requests and will provide
tourism related services and package tours on our behalf or on behalf of our suppliers.
He or she will work in the agency and will have to keep our customers satisfied and
loyal for future services.
Your main responsibilities
In Sales department
Organize short or long term stays by offering part of the service (sale of
transportation, accommodation, insurance and other travel services) or a package
deal
Welcoming customers (Junior)
Determine clients' needs and advise them on appropriate destinations, modes of
transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations
Sell the products of Tour Operators, Hotels, independent power station
Contact third parties and make various reservations (transportation, accommodation,
activities...)
Provide travelers with relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local
customs, maps, regulations, events, etc.)
Accompany clients in their administrative procedures
Collect payments/fees
Provide after-sales service, deal with travel problems, complaints or refunds (Senior)
Build customer loyalty
Apply the strategy defined by the Management in the permanent concern of
efficiency (objectives), quality, service and customer satisfaction
Your other tasks
Prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
Designing trips (Senior)
Attend travel seminars to stay abreast of tourism trends
Keep customer files up to date
Maintain statistical and financial records (Senior)
Achieve profit and sales targets

Your skills and qualities
Confirmed professional experience as a travel agent (Senior)
Knowledge of computer reservation systems
Sales skills
Knowledge of administrative and medical procedures related to tourism (obtaining a
passport, list of vaccinations, etc.).
Computer literacy with hands-on experience with Microsoft applications
Team management (Senior)
Know how to communicate with various interlocutors and be able to forge a network
of contacts in the field of tourism services.
To be interested in the culture of the proposed destination countries

You have
High school or college diploma or specialized training in tourism, travel or business
management
OPC Travel Permit
At least four years of progressive professional experience in travel management
(Senior)
Fluency in English and French; multilingualism is a plus
