Baofeng gt- 3tp programming software

I just bought a Baofeng GT-3TP as an emergency backup radio to throw my road bag into the RV, and I planned to play with it for 2 months when I was in Alaska and Canada, but good fishing and my other radios employed me and I never got to try to program it or even think about it. So now that things
are resolved and I'm back home, I'd like to program this little radio so I can catch it and go if necessary. Cleaning the RV I looked in the bag and forgot I even had it on the trip! But I brought it in and fired the programming software just to blow it up and I have a hell of a time to get the comp to connect with
the transmitter. I'm just trying to make a connection, so I'm just trying to write a power-on message on the radio and it just stops the radio forever... Should I see the radio in my usb tray icons? It doesn't even show up as a disc. I'm surprised. Ideas? JD kf4anc I switched to CHIRP and still receives errors.
He says the drivers are up to date. Using the USB cable that was included w/radio. Installed drivers and automatically assigned port 8. The radio is flashing, then the bug says it can't communicate. I tried everything, switched USB slots, restarted comp and radio. I go to the port information and say this
device is working properly. I hear to connect and disconnect tones on my computer when I turn off and turn on the radio, but there is no icon that tells me it is there and it did not go through the normal driver icon as I usually see. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. I don't know what else to do. I have
fresh towels and boiling water. I know there's a baofeng master resident who lives here on forums. I'm here with burnt offers and cold beer (if you're close) and I'm calling my name.... I'm afraid of a Chinese conspiracy and Russian collusion. Something's wrong here. Why don't I be in a ditch in the middle

After browsing the Internet as well as the website miklor.com, I finally found a solution that worked for me. It's
trimming the programming cable just below it, where it connects to the radio. The boundary around this area is held a little more than on the radios of the uv-5r / uv-82 series, and therefore the pins can not be inserted into the radio all the way. I'm at work right now and I can't find a website that showed
some pictures where to crop, but when I get home in the morning, I'll check my home PC's browser history to see if I can find it. programming software. For easier programming of the initial frequency, copying and pasting and importing frequency files from previous radios - you may want to consider using the chirp programming software mentioned above. CHIRP is a free open-source tool for programming amateur radio. It
supports a large number of manufacturers and models, as well as a way to resettle with multiple data sources and formats.
