Application
Microinverters Power conversion materials
• Micro-inverters are installed in each panel to generate the
maximum power from each of them.
• AC can be generated in the micro-inverter, or in a high power
system for the complete installation
• Power handling is much less than in string inverters, in the
range of 300 watts. This implies:
• Higher switching frequencies
are possible
• Core size is smaller because of
the lower power, but also
because of the higher frequency
• Mid size standard shapes are
applicable, but also planar cores
