What’s Art
up to now?
It was Thursday afternoon at
the VFW, and Kevin Taylor
came pulling up with this little
“fire truck”. Art Widhalm, who
was just arriving, decided hed’
better take it for a spin! Many
of us remember these neat
little rigs as the Milk River
Shriners used to use them
for parades and other special
purposes. Dan Taylor had this
one tucked away, and it’s for
sale this Saturday at Taylor
Auction’s consignment sale.
And if you don’t know where
the sale is, but you know
where the VFW is (a pile
people do, as Ruthie’s Indian
Tacos went like hotcakes and
it was a sold-out show for the
American Legion’s wreath
fund-raiser for the graves of
Veterans), well, the sale is
right across Highway 2 from
the VFW. Lots of great stuff
from furniture to vehicles
to guns and everything in
between. Nathan’s hot dogs
will also be available. You can
check some of the auction
items on the back page.
