RULES & REGULATIONS GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam

Nedam’ Game (OKONG)

a) CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

"Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam’ Game (OKONG)” is a quiz based online
game which is being hosted and can be played on the ManoramaMAX app which is owned
by MM TV Limited.
b) DEFINITIONS:

1. For the purposes of the Rules & Regulations, the expressions used as shown herein-under
shall have the meaning ascribed to them as shown herein-below:
a. “Company” or “MMTV” means MM TV Limited;
b. “Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam Game ” or “OKONG” means the general knowledge
online quiz titled “Udan Panam Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam Game” which will be
played by the OKONG Participant “GP” in accordance with the Rules & Regulations;
c. “Episode” means an episode of the Show Udan Panam 3.0 (“UP”) being produced by MM
TV Limited for exhibition on Mazhavil Manorama channel (“MAZHAVIL”) which is owned
by MM TV Ltd and/or its affiliates;
d. “ManoramaMAX” means the website/application hosted by the Company where the
OKONG will be accessible from;
e. “OKONG Participant (s)” or “GP" means any person(s) who registers and / or participates in
the OKONG and who (i) is above eighteen (18) years of age as on July 7, 2020; (ii) is a
citizen of India residing in Kerala; (iii) is of sound mind and health and (iv) agrees to enter
into and participate in the OKONG in accordance with the Rules and Regulations as
defined in this document;
f. “Excluded Participant(s)”: means and includes, employees of the Company or any Group
Company, employees of the Producer, employees of the advertising agencies which has
been appointed by the Company, employees of the service providers engaged by the
company for various activities, employees of the back end IT service provider, employees
of the main sponsors and members of their immediate family. Further, all those who are
not resident of Kerala, not conversant in MALAYALAM and cannot read either English or
MALAYALAM are ineligible to enter the Show. For clarification the Registrant(s) should be
conversant in MALAYALAM and should be able to read and understand either English or
MALAYALAM;
g. “Producer” means the producer of the Show which is MM TV Limited.
h. “Rules & Regulations” means these rules and regulations governing the OKONG, as stated
herein in entirety and as may be amended by the Company from time to time;
i. "Show" means the Program Udan Panam 3.0 being produced by MM TV Limited for
exhibition on Mazhavil Manorama channel (“Mazhavil”) and/or such other channels
belonging to MM TV;

j. “MM TV” means MM TV Ltd and/or its affiliates.
k. “Stipulated Time” for the purposes of the OKONG shall mean either (i) the period until
which the Company permits a GP to answer any question forming part of the OKONG;
l. “Daily Winner” means the top 1 GP who has scored the highest points for a OKONG for
any Episode of the Show (or part thereof). However, any GP can win daily prize only once
during the entire season of the show
m. “Additional Daily Winner(s)” means the top 10 GP’s who have all scored the highest points
for a OKONG for any Episode of the Show (or part thereof). However, any GP can win daily
prize only once during the entire season of the show.
n. “Bumper Prize Winner” means the top 1 GP who has scored the highest cumulative
points during the period starting from 7th July 2020 to 28th August 2020 (or part thereof).
The Bumper Prize Winner is eligible for the Bumper Prize;
o. “Bumper Prize” means the prize that will be awarded to the Bumper Prize Winner as may
be announced by the Company on OKONG;
p. “Winners” shall mean either the Daily Winner, Additional Daily Winner(s) or the Bumper
Prize Winner or any other winner as may be determined by the Company in terms of the
Rules & Regulations.

c) PROCEDURE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OKON GAME:

1. Participation

a) The GPs should participate in the OKONG by registering on the ManoramaMAX App in the
Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam Game (OKONG) section. The game will be
available on the App every week from Monday to Friday between 09:00 PM and 10:00 PM
(Show duration may extend based on creative content) commencing from 7th July 2020 to
28th August 2020.
b) The above-mentioned schedule could be added to, modified or cancelled based on
programming/ technical requirements and in the event the Show is for any reason
rescheduled, extended, cancelled or terminated early at the sole discretion of the
Company.
c) The mobile number from which the registration is received will be used to identify the GP
as a unique identification number. We urge GPs to use numbers where they would be
clearly identified as the GP of the Contest.
d) Any entry for participation in the OKONG is not transferrable.
e) The GP may be required to furnish necessary supporting documentation as proof of age,
address, name, photo identity and nationality i.e. one original and attested photocopies of
either (i) passport/driving license or (ii) PAN Card along with birth certificate and ration
card or (iii) voter identity card with birth certificate (iv) UID/Aadhar Card.
f) The Company has the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility. The
failure to provide proof of eligibility, including the proof of name, address and correct date
of birth within the time as stipulated in the Rules & Regulations or upon request by the

 Company may result in disqualification. The Company also reserves the right to disqualify
a GP in case where a discrepancy is found to exist in the information furnished / provided /
stated by the GP during the conversation with the Company or any of the Company’s sub-
contractors and vendors in the OKONG, and/or in the information stated in the documents
furnished by the GP or any other communications at any time.
g) The Company may, at its discretion, contact the GP(s), if required, for any clarifications
needed for the information provided and the GP shall provide such clarifications when
contacted by the Company.
h) All personal details and information requested by and supplied to the Company by each
GP must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading. The Company reserves the right
to disqualify any GP(s) from the OKONG at its sole discretion, should the GP(s) at any stage
supply untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

2. Steps for Registration

a) Download the ManoramaMAX App from the application store. Please note, the application
download is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details please
contact your telecom operator. User can also register on www.manoramamax.com.
b) If you are a first -time user, then you will be prompted to register by providing your mobile
number and e-mail id. An OTP will be sent across to your mobile number and e-mail id to
verify the same.
c) Once registered, you will be prompted to provide your basic details such as Date of Birth,
Gender, address, State/City, etc.
d) Click on Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam’ Game banner/ Access Udan Panam
‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam’ Game from the menu.
e) Select Language Preference (Malayalam / English).
f) Click on the “Play Now” tab.
g) Answer Profile related questions including occupation and education related questions.
h) In the event the GP uses a SIM card not registered in his name for registration, the
Company will not be responsible to track such GP.
i) In the event, it is not possible to determine with certainty the person who registered from
a particular mobile number, that entry would be disqualified. GP(s) are requested to use
mobile numbers which are unique to them.
j) Taking part in the registration process shall be deemed to be acceptance by the
Participant(s) to receive promotional messages from the Company or any third party so
authorized by the Company.
k) The procedures for registration and participation in the OKONG are subject to the Rules &
Regulations stated herein. Non-conformance by any GP(s) to the Rules & Regulations will
disqualify him/her from participation or winnings, immediately, as the case may be.
l) The Company hereby clarifies that any linking of social media accounts hereunder (i.e.
Google + and Facebook) is being done for verification purposes to ensure that the person
playing/accessing the OKONG is 18 years and above and is not a robot. By accepting these
Rules and Regulations, the GP consents to the Company accessing the information of the
GP including the profile picture of the GP for the purpose of verification and marketing

 activities.

3. Charges for the OKONG

a) The ManoramaMAX application download and the OKON Game are free of cost, however
data charges may apply. For further details, please contact your telecom operator.
b) Please check with your telecom operator for any other applicable charges. In case any user
registers while roaming in a different circle/zone/country, additional roaming rates may
apply. Please contact your telecom operator for the applicable rates.

4. Playing rules

a) During each episode of the Show (telecast in India at 09:00 PM IST and 09:00 GCC), the GP
will have to answer questions within the Stipulated Time.
b) The Stipulated Time for answering each question will be that given to the contestant of
Udan Panam show in Mazhavil Manorama Channel.
c) For every question answered correctly, the GP will be awarded points (as per the points’
tree shown in OKONG).

The levels in the money tree can be altered as per the Producers discretion on Mazhavil
Manorama Channel.
d) An on-going OKONG could lose the opportunity to play one or more questions, watch one
or more videos (and hence lose points) in any of the following scenarios:
i. Where a GP answers a call / message / etc. on the device where he/she is playing
OKONG or watching a video on the OKONG;
ii. Where a GP exits the application being used by the GP in the course of playing the
OKONG or watching a video on the OKONG;
iii. Where there is a network drop or battery drain-out in the course of playing the
OKONG or watching a video on the OKONG;
iv. Where the device on which OKONG is being played hangs during the course of
playing the OKONG or watching a video on the OKONG;
v. Where the OKONG or the ability of a GP to play the OKONG is affected by any
other network / IT / phone issues. Where a GP exits the OKONG in the middle of a
session when a Contestant is answering questions, the GP will be permitted to
rejoin the OKONG only when the next question is asked.
e) Points scored by GP across multiple days/ played along will get accumulated. In the event
a OKONG is terminated mid-session for any reasons whatsoever, the GP will have to wait
till the next question is asked on the Show, in order to continue scoring points.
f) Once the “Lock your answer” button has been pressed, the GP will not be allowed to
change the answer. If the "Lock your answer” button does not disappear, the server has
not received the response and the GP would be required to press the button again. Please
note that the GP has to select the answer option and press the button within the
Stipulated Time.
g) Post submission (locking) of the answer, the GP(s) will not be permitted to modify / alter/
change the answer submitted.
h) Only the answers received within the Stipulated Time will be considered valid.
i) The Company will not entertain any claims / questions / queries with respect to the
authenticity or correctness of any questions and answers for the questions asked in any
round of the OKONG.
j) The Company’s decision on the correctness or incorrectness of any answer is final and
binding on all GPs.
k) Apart from the questions telecast in the television show, special question for online shall
also be posed to the GP from time to time and the points associated with such questions
shall declared at the time of the show.

5. Daily and/orAdditionalEpisode Winner Selection

a) A GP will be eligible to win the Daily Winner/ Additional Daily Winner prize only once
through the entire season but will have to answer all questions asked through every episode to

be eligible for the bumper prize.
b) The Company shall select the top 1 GP for each CONTESTANT as the Daily Winners i.e. the
GP who have scored the highest number of points for the particular contestant. The Company
shall select the another top 10 GP’s for each episode as the Additional Daily Winners i.e. the GP
who have scored the highest number of points for the particular episode.
c) The Episode Winners shall be eligible to receive prizes amount equivalent to the amount
won by the contestant on Mazhavil Manorama Channel. In case the contestant on
Mazhavil Manorama Channel is unable to successfully complete the task give for a
particular question, the contestant falls to the previous amount by half and the same
amount will be won by the GP. (For eg if the contestant on Mazhavil Manorama Channel is
playing question no.5 for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) and he/she has
answered the question correctly but failed to complete the task provided, in this case the
Contestant will fall to half the amount of the earlier question’s prize amount i.e. half of
Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) Rs.2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred
Only). As such the Daily Winner will be eligible for the same
d) Additional Daily Winners shall be eligible to receive prize not exceeding Rs.1000/-.
e) The Company shall have the sole discretion to modify the number of Daily Winners per
prize category and the Daily Winners hereby undertake not to question or to make any
claims against the same.
f) A GP will be eligible to win daily prize only once in the entire season. The Daily prize winner
is eligible to play in subsequent episodes and try to win in the category of Additional Daily
Prize winner again once per season.
g) Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners will be declared within 3 days of telecast of the
Episode on Mazhavil Manorama Channel on the game section in ManoramaMAX.
h) The Daily / Additional Daily / Bumper Winners will need to ensure that their mobile
numbers and/or other contact details are correctly mentioned in order to claim the
prize.The terms and conditions applicable for collecting/redemption of the prizes will be
included in email sent to winners or will be communicated over phone..
i) The Company shall have the sole discretion to decide whether or not to declare the Daily
Winner / Additional Daily Winners or the manner in which the Daily Winner / Additional
Daily Winners is announced and the Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners hereby
undertake not to question or to make any claims against the manner in which the names
of the Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners are declared by the Company.
j) The Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners determination will be on the basis of the total
points earned by GP while playing the OKONG for that particular contestant. The GP who
(i) is not previously a Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners and (ii) have scored the
highest number of points in a OKONG for one contestant of the Show will become eligible
for being chosen as the Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners.
k) For the sake of more clarity, once an Eligible GP has been an Daily Winner / Additional
Daily Winners for all available prize categories, he/ she is ineligible to be selected as the
Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners for the subsequent contestants. However, the
participant will still be eligible for the Bumper prize.
l) A randomizer software developed specifically for the purpose of selection will select the
Additional Daily Winners (s). It can also be used in other prize categories if deemed

 necessary. The randomizer will use an appropriate method of selecting winner(s) at the
Company’s discretion. In the event of a software failure, or for any other reason, the
Company may adopt any other methodology or criteria at its sole discretion to select from
amongst the Eligible GPs, depending upon requirement and availability of time
m) The Company and/or its authorized agents, affiliates and representatives will rely upon
only such information as may be provided by the Daily / Additional Daily / Bumper
Winner(s) at the time of participation in the OKONG (or registration on the
ManoramaMAXapp).

6. Bumper prize Winner Selection

a) The Company may, at its discretion, decide to award prize to the Bumper Prize Winner as
the Company deems fit. The Bumper Prize so won shall be announced by the Company.
b) The Bumper Prize Winner determination will be on the basis of the total points earned by
GPs while playing for the duration of the OKONG (ie episode no.1 to 40). The GPs who
have scored the highest number of points for the duration of the OKONG will become
eligible for availing the Bumper Prize (“Eligible GP”).
c) Where more than one Eligible GP scores the same highest number of points in a OKONG
for the Season of the Show, the Bumper Winner will be determined with the help of
randomizer software developed specifically for the purpose of selection of the Bumper
Prize Winner. The randomizer will use an appropriate method of selecting winners to
break the tie, at the discretion of Company management. In the event of a software
failure, or for any other reason, the Company may adopt any other methodology or
criteria at its sole discretion to select from amongst the Eligible GPs, depending upon
requirement and availability of time.
d) The Company and/or its authorized agents, affiliates and representatives will rely upon
only such telephonic contact information as may be provided by the Bumper Prize Winner
at the time of participation in the OKONG (or registration on the ManoramaMAX app) to
contact him/her.
e) The details of the Bumper prize Winner will be intimated by the Company to such Season
Winner on the mobile number provided by such Eligible GP at the time of registration, on
a best effort basis.
f) Where, the Bumper prize Winner cannot be contacted telephonically; or (ii) after being so
contacted, the Bumper Prize Winner(s) does not claim the Bumper Prize with sufficient
proof of identification as such Bumper prize Winner, the Bumper Prize for such Bumper
prize Winner stands forfeited and the next Eligible GP who has scored the same highest
number of points in a OKONG for the Show will be selected as the Bumper Prize Winner.
Where any such announcement is made by the Company, no further claims by the original
Bumper Prize Winner who could not be contacted or does not claim the Bumper Prize
Prize, will be entertained and the Company will not be responsible or liable in any way
whatsoever to such persons.
g) The Company reserves the rights to determine and/or announce the timelines and the
methodology of determining Bumper Prize Winner from time to time.
h) The winners will be informed about the prizes and details of how to redeem it via email to

 the registered email Id and/or SMS to the registered mobile number

7. Winner Declaration and Pay-out/ Prize handover

a) The Company reserves the right, at its discretion, to institute one or more prizes for the
GPs and the terms and conditions associated thereto, including whether such prizes are
daily, Bumper, cumulative, non-cumulative or any combination thereof. Every Episode
may not have prizes.
b) The Company reserves the right to offer or withdraw any of the prizes as provided herein,
at any point of time, including after they have been announced.
c) The Company shall have the liberty but not the obligation to publish information with
respect to the top points scored by the GPs in the OKONG conducted from time to time
(“Leader Board”). The Leader Board is indicative only, and may not be up to date across all
GPs and the Leader Board data cannot be used as evidence in any manner. Due to high
participation volume, server load, software malfunction, etc., point calculation may not be
immediately correct. In the event point calculations are incorrect, company will correct
the same. This could result in changes to GPs points. The Company will have no obligation
to intimate any GP in the event scores are corrected. At no given point of time can a GP
question the company on the process followed in declaring the Daily Winner / Additional
Daily Winners / Bumper Prize Winners.
d) The Company may, in its sole discretion, exclude a GP from participating in any part of the
OKONG which may include without limitation (i) circumstances which, in the Company's
view, renders the GP unfit to participate therein; (ii) inability to produce documentation
specified by the Company proving the identity of the GP; (iii) any other reason that, at the
discretion of Company, would adversely impact the Company or the OKONG. At no point
of time will the Company be obliged to notify unsuccessful GPs of its decision.
e) Company will use the number used to register on the ManoramaMAX app by the GP to
identify the Winner of the prizes won, if any. Inability on the part of the GP to accordingly
show or provide the required identification proof could entitle the Company to disqualify
the GP from any winnings, if any.
f) Whilst the Company shall make all reasonable endeavors to (i) enable GP(s) to proceed
with participation in the OKONG (ii) to contact all Winner(s) at each relevant juncture of
the OKONG, the Company can make no guarantee thereof and the Company shall in its
sole discretion be entitled to proceed with the next entitled GPs who are eligible to be
Winners under the Rules & Regulations, in case it is unable to successfully contact and
communicate with GP(s)/ Winner(s) in terms hereof.
g) The Company will have no liability to a GP who is unable to take part in the OKONG for
whatever reason and the Company shall be entitled to disqualify the GP(s) from the
OKONG at any time, at the discretion of the Company.
h) The Company further reserves the right to replace at its discretion any Winner(s) who for
any reason fails or is disqualified from or unable to participate in the OKONG with another
GP who has scored the same number of points and is otherwise eligible to be a Winner,
notwithstanding that such GP may have been previously eliminated from the OKONG and

 each GP shall agree to collect the prize as and when required by the Company to do so.
i) If at any point, it is determined by the Company that any person has tampered with the
ManoramaMAX app, the OKONG, or any data / servers / database / etc. related to the
OKONG, the Company reserves the right at its discretion to revoke or cancel points or
winnings of any such GP and / or initiate litigation as deemed fit and necessary by the
Company.
j) The Daily / Bumper winner’s prize will be paid only after 90 days of telecast of the episode
in which the Mazhavil Manorama channel Participant had participated. The Additional
Daily prize will be distributed to winners within 60 days after declaration of the winners.
Any and all taxes and/or levies applicable on the prize money won by the GP under the
laws of India shall be borne by the GP in relation to the prize. Payment of prize money to
the Winner(s) shall be after deduction of all applicable taxes and levies and subject to
providing the relevant documents as intimated by the Company and will be paid within the
time stipulated by the Company. While releasing prize amount, MMTV shall deduct the tax
at source (if applicable) and issue TDS certificate in the name of the GP. To facilitate
payment of prize, the GP should share full name and address, duly attested copy of any
government issued ID, PAN, etc.
k) The Company will reach out to the Bumper Winner within 7 days from declaring the
winner to obtain details and documentation, if any, to initiate the registration process for
the prize, if applicable. Such Bumper Prize winner will be contacted on the mobile number
provided by them at the time of registration on ManoramaMAX app. The Company will
make a maximum of 3 attempts to get in touch with such winner. Failure to contact the
Winner may result in forfeiture of the Bumper Prize for such GP and the Company may
award the same to subsequent Eligible GP with highest score. The Bumper Winner will
avail the Bumper Prize on an “AS IS” basis. The Company will determine handing over of
the Bumper Prize in consultation with the sponsor of the Bumper Prize and based on what
is made available by such sponsor. Neither the Company nor the sponsor will be
responsible should the Bumper Winner refuse to accept the Bumper Prize as made
available.
l) Winner who has won the Bumper Prize will receive a communication regarding the prizes
via email on the registered email id from ManoramaMAX app. The details will be intimated
by the Company to such Winner on the email id provided by them at the time of
registration on ManoramaMAX app, on a best effort basis. Any prize not collected /
claimed within 7 days will be forfeited and the winner will be disqualified.
m) The following documents will be required to be submitted by the Winner in order to
claim/ redeem prize:
i. The GP will be required to send attested copies of a valid photo ID proof issued by the
Government of India with address (passport, Aadhaar card, etc.), PAN card and any
other documents that will be required within the stipulated time.
n) The Bumper Prize Winner agrees that the handing of the Bumper Prize may be delayed as
a result of a delay in submission of documents and/ or any force majeure events which are
not within the control of the Company.
o) The Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners / Bumper Prize Winner hereby agrees that

 he/ she shall not hold the Company responsible for any delays and/ or disputes and/or
claims arising out of the Daily / Bumper Prize and shall indemnify the Company against any
and all such claims.
p) The Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners / Bumper prize Winner hereby agree that in
case of any disputes/ claims arising out of the Daily Winner / Additional Daily Winners /
Bumper Prize, the same shall be addressed directly to the sponsor of the Daily Winner /
Additional Daily Winners / Bumper Prize and the Company shall not be held responsible
for the same.
q) The Company may refuse to pay winnings or reclaim all sums paid to Winners in the event
of any fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement on the part of any of such Winner(s) to
participate in the OKONG under the Rules & Regulations.
r) Tax obligation in respect of any prize won by the winner will be borne by the winner
themselves

8. SYSTEMS ANDAVAILABILITY

a) The Company will not be responsible for any break or disconnection or disruption in
network connectivity in any manner, irrespective of the network being used. Network issues
can disrupt various aspects of the OKONG such as receipt of questions and answer options,
receipt of any sound, text, image or audio files related to the question, receipt of answer
chosen by the GP, etc. The GP is advised to remain in an area with a strong and stable/
continuous mobile network signal of the telecom operator or internet service provider to
ensure smooth functioning of the OKONG.
b) Any loss or outrage or dissatisfaction suffered by the course of playing the OKONG by a GP
would not be the responsibility of the Company and/or its associates/ affiliates and the
Company or its associates/affiliates will not be responsible to make good any such loss or
dissatisfaction.
c) All attempts will be made to protect the data from loss and corruption, but in the event
such data loss happens, Company may have to continue with whatever data is available, or
in any other manner as it may deem reasonable. The Company should not be held
responsible for any loss of data or the action taken on account of the same. The Company
will not be held responsible to make good any such loss or dissatisfaction on account of
such loss.
d) In the event the response of the GP is not for any reason received within the Stipulated
Time period for the question, such GP would not be able to get points in the event that
question(s) was correctly answered by the GP. The GP can continue to answer questions
once re-connected to the OKONG game server(s). Company or its vendors and partners are
not responsible for any such instances.
e) In case multiple entries are received from a GP for the same question, Company has the
right to choose the first answer entry received from that GP. If multiple entries are received
at the same time, then the Company will choose any of the answer entries received. Scores
calculated basis this will be considered final and would be updated on the OKONG
subsequently at a later date.
f) Prior to start of play of the OKONG, the GP must check that the ManoramaMAX app is

 operational and functioning correctly. The GP is advised to keep adequate RAM and phone
memory available to ensure smooth functioning of the OKONG. Quitting other applications
on the device will also help towards smoother gameplay in case of some phones.
g) GP is advised to keep the device from which the OKONG is played, adequately charged. Low
battery will result in shut down of the network and / or device and that will result in the GP
not being in a position to play along with the Contestant.
h) In the rare cases, if the server is down during the play, the Company will, at its discretion
but not as an obligation, determine such measures as it may deem fit, including cancelling
certain sections or segments or question(s) from being scored and/or awarding points to all
the players for that section, or any other means at the discretion of the Company.
i) Every effort will be made to coordinate the questions on OKONG with the SD & HD feeds of
the Show, such that the questions as they appear on the Show coincide with the questions
as they appear on the ManoramaMAX app. However, since this is heavily dependent on
satellites, networks, receivers, connectivity, cloud issues and various forms of latency, there
could be instances of inaccurate alignment. These would be outside the control of the
Company or its affiliates/associates and neither the Company nor its affiliates or associates
will be responsible for any consequences or liability arising therefrom, to any part
whatsoever.
j) All GPs need to adjust the device display, font and resolution to default size or lower to
ensure that they are able to play the OKONG on their devices properly. If not, then the
“Play” and “Lock” button might not appear on the device screen during gameplay. In case
the GP is not able to play the OKONG on account of this, the Company will not be
responsible in any manner whatsoever.
k) The GP acknowledges that all possible issues may not have been identified by the Company
and its partners, and agrees to hold harmless the Company and its partners for the
application, network, process, technical or any other failures. Any losses, injury, discomfort,
loss of privacy, inability to participate or any other discomfort of any sort caused to the GP
or the GP’s property or device shall not be the responsibility of the Company or its partners.
l) No person (i.e., either the GP, or any person on behalf of the GP) shall initiate litigation
against the Company or its partners in any manner without first providing the Company a
complaint at [email protected] and providing the Company an
opportunity to address the complaint.
m) In case any unauthorized activity is observed on the OKONG, that particular GP will be
disqualified to play till such time as the Company deems fit. The Company would not be
responsible in any manner whatsoever on account of such disqualification.
n) Company shall not be liable for any failure of the application server or system in the course
of playing the OKONG.
o) The Company shall endeavor to make all reasonably practicable arrangements, it cannot
guarantee or assure seamless connectivity or continuous availability of the application,
server, system or software to the GPs during the conduct of the OKONG as these are
dependent on external utilities/ service providers and factors which could be beyond
control of the Company.
p) Company and its sub-contractors are not responsible for delayed receipt or non-receipt or
incomplete receipt or corrupt receipt of answers.

q) The Company accepts no liability and shall not be responsible and/or liable in any manner
whatsoever in case the GP(s) are unable to participate in the OKONG due to failure on the
part of the telecom operator, facility provider, etc., or due to capacity constraints.
r) It shall not be open for the GP(s) or any of their representatives to require an audit or
verification of the randomizer/ selection software or any other criteria, process or system
adopted by the Company as part of the process of conduct of the OKONG or selection of
Winners resulting therefrom.
s) No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained in this regard.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY ANDPUBLICITY

a) The Company shall keep all the information collected from the GPs confidential and shall
not share the information so collected with any party, save and except for the purpose of
the present OKONG. The GP by providing the aforesaid sensitive personal information
hereby agree that the Company shall have the right to share the information so collected
with such other third party as required for the purpose of the OKONG and hereby agree
that they shall not file any claim against the Company for sharing of such personal
information. Any information shared by the GP to the Company shall be handled by the
Company in terms of the privacy policy of the Company.
b) None of the GPs shall, without the prior written approval of the Company, speak to the
press or any other media or any third person, nor give any interviews or comments relating
to any aspect of the OKONG. The GP shall not disclose any information whatsoever relating
to the Company to any other party. Violation of this clause shall immediately disqualify the
GP’s prospects of further participation.
c) The GP shall at all times keep confidential all particulars and details regarding the OKONG.
d) As part of GP’s contribution to the OKONG, the producer of the Show may request one or
more GP to participate in any online/interactive activity relating to the Show, including
without limitation, the recordings of web-casts, interviews and participation in so-called
‘chat- rooms’. It is a further condition of entry and participation in the OKONG that the
GP(s) shall adhere to and where necessary, procure from any and all contributors thereto,
their necessary agreement and execution of the release form as devised from time to time
by the Company and/or the producer of the Show.
e) The Winner(s) of the OKONG as announced by the Company from time to time, agrees that
he/she shall make himself/herself available from time to time and co-operate with the
Company and participate in any activity and/or campaign (“Promotional Activity”) of any
nature whatsoever without any money payable to the Winner(s). Further, the
Winner(s)/GP(s) shall at no point of time refuse or disagree to participate in any such
Promotional Activity for any reason whatsoever if required by the Company. The
Winner(s)/GP(s) agrees that the footage of any nature shall vest with the Company,
including but not limited to all intellectual property rights and any other rights for
worldwide and in perpetuity.
f) Any photographs, videos etc. submitted by the GPs/Winners to the Company or recorded,
shall on submission / creation become the property of the Company and shall be available
to the Company for exploitation across all mediums throughout the world in perpetuity. The

 GP(s) shall ensure that the photos or videos submitted by them in any public domain or
their performances shall not be obscene, vulgar, defaming, denigrating women or children,
hurting religious sentiments, depicting violence or shall not infringe the rights of a third
person. The GP(s) shall solely remain liable for any action (criminal/civil) arising therefrom.
g) Acceptance of these Rules and Regulations by the GP constitutes permission for the
Company, including its affiliates, to click photographs, record videos of the GP(s) and use
the GP(s) name, photographs, likeness, voice and comments for advertising and
promotional purposes in any media worldwide for purposes of advertising and trade
without any additional compensation whatsoever.

10. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

a) The participation in the OKONG(s) shall be considered to be acceptance of these Rules &
Regulations.
b) The GP hereby represents that he/she is not under any exclusive contracts with any other
third party/ agency or is not under any kind of disqualification under law to enter into an
agreement with the Company or its affiliates, as the case may be.
c) The GP shall undertake, warrant and guarantee to the Company that the GP has the full
legal capacity to participate in the OKONG in accordance with these Rules & Regulations.
d) Any requirement by the Company for the GP to link his/her social media accounts
hereunder, shall not be deemed to an endorsement of any of such social media platform
and the information accessed by the Company from such social media accounts shall at all
times be subject to the terms and conditions of such social media website.
e) The GP acknowledges that he/she has voluntarily chosen to participate in the OKONG at his
/ her free-will and is willing to bear all risk, costs & consequences arising from such
participation in the OKONG.
f) The GP shall not have any claim against the Company and/or any of its affiliates connected
with the OKONG for the same. The Company or any of the affiliates connected with the
OKONG shall not be responsible for any such eventuality and the GP(s) shall not be entitled
to claim any compensation from the Company or the producer of the Show.
g) In the event of any fault, misunderstanding or dispute concerning any part of the OKONG,
and/or the operation of the telephone system, the selection of Winner at any stage, or the
validity of any question or answer options, the decision of the Company shall be final and
binding on all GP(s) and other persons. The Company is empowered to take a decision on
any case or instances not covered by the present Rules & Regulations.
h) The Company reserves the right to amend (add, delete or modify) the Rules & Regulations
prospectively or retrospectively, at its discretion and without prior notice, in order to
improve the OKONG or remedy any issues that occur.
i) The Company has the right at any time to terminate the OKONG without any prior
intimation or notice to the public and also the Company is not obligated in any manner
whatsoever to compensate any person or persons who have participated in the OKONG.
j) Registration or participation in the OKONG does not guarantee a prize or award.
k) If the operation of the OKONG; the recording or broadcast of any/all of the Show is
prevented by an event of force majeure or otherwise, the Company may cancel all or any

 part of the OKONG, or take such other decision as it deems fit.
l) In case the Winner(s) is found to be in violation of any and all rules/process of the OKONG,
the Company reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against such person(s) including
but not limited to having the concerned Winner to refund the prize money together with
penalty interest as deemed fit by the Company. If at any time, including after disbursement
of prize, any information submitted by the GP(s) is found to be incorrect, false, or otherwise
misrepresented or misleading, the GP(s) shall be liable to refund all amounts received from
the Company/ the Company is liable to reclaim the prizes from the GP(s).
m) If any provision of these Rules & Regulations is held by any court or other competent
authority to be void or unenforceable in whole or part, the other provisions of these Rules
& Regulations and the remainder of the affected provisions shall continue to be valid.
n) These Rules & Regulations and the OKONG shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with the laws of India and the GP(s) submit irrevocably to the jurisdiction of the
Courts in Cochin.
o) The Company is empowered to take a decision on any case not covered by the present
Rules and Regulations.
p) The Company is in no manner whatsoever responsible and/or shall not be held liable in any
manner whatsoever, for any physical injury, death, mental trauma caused to any GP(s)
and/or the Winner (s) in any manner whatsoever, in relation to the OKONG and/or prize.
q) The Winner(s) and/or the GP(s) of the OKONG agrees that he/she shall hold harmless the
Company, its employees, officers, sub-contractors or any other person in connection with
the prize won by him/her and/or in relation to the OKONG/Show including but not limited
to the procedure in the OKONG and shall also not file in person/ through any family
member and/or third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts
or forum in India against sponsor and/or the Company to claim any damages or reliefs.
r) The Company or any of its affiliates will not be liable for any loss of earnings, employment
or otherwise caused to the GP(s) and arising as a result of his/her participation in the
OKONG.
s) The GP(s) hereby agree to indemnify the Company or its affiliates against any claims that
might arise from their actions or omissions while participating in the OKONG.
t) The only way to enter OKONG is through participation as described in Rules & Regulations.
There is no other way of entering the OKONG. Any person claiming that he/she can help get
you wins for a consideration is defrauding you. Please contact your local police and report
this person immediately.

THIS FIRST ADDENDUM IS MADE AND IS APPLICABLE EFFECTIVE FROM 15 TH JULY 2020.

1. In Definition Clause ‘e’ should be hence forth read as :

“OKONG Participant (s)” or “GP" means any person(s) who registers and / or participates
in the OKONG and who (i) is above eighteen (18) years of age as on July 7, 2020; (ii) is a
citizen of India; (iii) is of sound mind and health and (iv) agrees to enter into and
participate in the OKONG in accordance with the Rules and Regulations as defined in
this document.

2. In the Definition Clause ‘f’ will be inserted which will read as follows:

“Excluded Participant(s)”: means and includes, employees of the Company or any Group
Company, employees of the Producer, employees of the advertising agencies which has
been appointed by the Company, employees of the service providers engaged by the
company for various activities, employees of the back end IT service provider,
employees of the main sponsors and members of their immediate family. Further, all
those who are not citizen of India or NRI in GCC countries, not conversant in
MALAYALAM and cannot read either English or MALAYALAM are ineligible to enter the
Show. For clarification the Registrant(s) should be conversant in MALAYALAM and
should be able to read and understand either English or MALAYALAM .

3. Further wherever the word “Mazhavil Manorama Channel” is seen mentioned in the
Rules and Regulations shall hence forth be read as “Mazhavil Manorama or Mazhavil
Manorama International Channel”

The RULES & REGULATIONS GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam
Oppam Nedam’ Game (OKONG) is amended and supplemented as set forth herein and all other
terms and conditions set out in the RULES & REGULATIONS GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN

IN FURTHERANCE TO SUB CLAUSE 40 OF CLAUSE IV OF RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING
PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam 3.0 THIS FIRST ADDENDUM IS MADE AND IS APPLICABLE

1. Clause IV General sub clause 38 shall henceforth be read as follow:

The Company or the Producers will not entertain any claims / questions / queries with
respect to the authenticity or correctness of any questions and answers for the
questions asked in any round of the Show. The questions are taken from a current
affairs and general knowledge book pertaining to the year 2020. The Company’s
decision on the correctness or incorrectness of any answer is final and binding on all
Contestants

The RULES & REGULATIONS GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam 3.0 is amended and

1. Clause 5 n should be inserted and which shall be read as follow:

The Company will reach out to the selected participant before confirming the daily
winner. The selected participant will be contacted on the mobile number provided by
them at the time of registration on ManoramaMAX app. The Company will make a
maximum of 3 attempts within an hour (next day) to get in touch with the selected
participant. The Selected Participant needs to share his/her details/documentation for
payment related purposes. Further the selected participant needs to provide a video clip
for the confirmation of his winning. The Video should be sent to the company within 1
hour of receipt of call in the prescribed format, falling which the selected participant will
be disqualified. Post disqualification the Company may award the same to the
subsequent Eligible GP with highest score for the daily winner position.

2. Clause 10 g shall henceforth be read as follow :

In the event of any fault, misunderstanding or dispute concerning any part of the
OKONG, and/or the operation of the telephone system, the selection of Winner at any
stage, or the validity of any question or answer options, the decision of the Company
shall be final and binding on all GP(s) and other persons. The questions are taken from a
current affairs and general knowledge book pertaining to the year 2020. The Company’s
decision on the correctness or incorrectness of any answer is final and binding on all GP.
The Company is empowered to take a decision on any case or instances not covered by
the present Rules & Regulations.

forth herein and all other terms and conditions set out in the RULES & REGULATIONS read with
First Addendum GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam’
Game (OKONG) shall remain unchanged, in full force and apply mutatis mutandis except as

“Bumper Prize Winner” means the top GP who has scored the highest cumulative
points. They are as mentioned below :
 Bumper Prize Winner 1 – Episode no.1 to 40 for the period from 7th July 2020 to
30th August 2020 (or part thereof) and
 Bumper Prize Winner 2 - Episode no.41 to 80 for the period from 1st September
2020 to 26 October 2020 (or part thereof).
The above Winners are eligible for the Bumper Prize.

2. Clause c 1 (a) shall henceforth be read as follow :

The GPs should participate in the OKONG by registering on the ManoramaMAX App in
the Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam Game (OKONG) section. The game
will be available on the App every week from Monday to Friday between 09:00 PM and
10:00 PM (Show duration may extend based on creative content) commencing from 7th
July 2020 to 26 October 2020.

3. Clause c 6 (b) shall henceforth be read as follow

The Bumper Prize Winner determination will be on the basis of the total points earned
by GPs while playing for the duration of the OKONG (ie episode no.1 to 40 and episode
no.41 to 80). The GPs each for the episode no.1 to 40 and episode no.41 to 80 who have
scored the highest number of points for the duration of the OKONG will become eligible
for availing the Bumper Prize (“Eligible GP”). GP who has won the Bumper Prize for the
episode no.1 to 40 will not be considered for episode no.41 to 80. Only one person will
be eligible for Bumper prize for the above said period.

1. A new clause 2 A shall be inserted which will read as under:

“Online Call for Entry” a GP will have the opportunity to enter the audition. Online call
for entry will be held during the course of the show from 2 nd October 2020 to
6th October 2020. A call for entry question will be telecast in between the
normal game on Mazhavil Manorama channel. During the telecast of the show, the
question will be shown as a special “AUDITION QUESTION”. The answer needs to be
given through the OKONG game section in the Manoramamax App.

“Randomizer” GP’s who have answered any one of the question correctly shall be
eligible to be selected for the audition based on a randomizer. Randomizer will be run
individually for 4 days. GP’s can answer on multiple days. Randomizer will select GP’s
who have answered correctly based on predefined criteria as decided by the Producer.

“Audition” GP’s selected by the randomizer from the online Call For Entry will have to
attend an audition process, as defined by the Producer, before being selected for Udan
Panam 3.0. Due to the existence of casting only minimal entries will be selected through
this process. The audition, selection and shooting will be held following the prevalent
COVID 19 protocols issued by the Government and by MMTV.

IN FURTHERANCE TO SUB CLAUSE H OF CLAUSE 10 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THIS FIFTH ADDENDUM IS MADE AND IS APPLICABLE EFFECTIVE FROM 9TH OCTOBER 2020.
1. A New definition will be inserted which will be read as follows :

“Q. OKONG Scratch Card means the Scratch card which will be reflected on every GP’s
mobile phone during the show.”
“R. OKONG Scratch Card Winner means not less than 20 GP’s who will be randomly
selected every day.”
2. Clause c 1 (a) shall henceforth be read as follow :

The GPs should participate in the OKONG by registering on the ManoramaMAX App in
the Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam Game (OKONG) section. The game
will be available on the App every week from Monday to Friday between 09:00 PM and
10:00 PM (Show duration may extend based on creative content) commencing from 7th
July 2020 to 18th September 2020. And effective from 19h September 2020 till end of
season the game will be available show will be on the App seven days a week between
09:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Show duration may extend based on creative content).
3. A New Clause 5 A will be inserted which will be read as follows :
A GP will be eligible to win the OKONG Scratch Card prize on all days of telecast.
During the show telecast an anchor mention regarding the presence of the OKONG
Scratch Card will/might be made. GP is required to virtually scratch the card upon
receipt to know the winning status. Not less than 20 GP’s who are live during the show
will be eligible for OKONG Scratch Card. The selection will be done randomly.
Winning from the OKONG Scratch Card can be either Cash or gifts. Upon winning an
email will be send from MMTV to the registered email id of GP in manoramamax
intimating the winning amount and seeking the winner to provide the required details
(i.e Name, Address, contact details, email id, Name of the Bank, branch, Account no.,
IFSC code, duly attested copy of any government issued ID, PAN, etc) to facilitate
transfer of the winning(s). GP need to share the details within 7 days and MMTV shall
make the payment within 90 days of receipt of the above said details in proper order. In
case the details are not shared within 7 days of the above email, the prize amount will
be forfeited.
Any and all taxes and/or levies applicable on the prize money won by the GP under the
laws of India shall be borne by the GP in relation to the prize. Payment of prize money
to the Winner(s) shall be after deduction of all applicable taxes and levies and subject to
providing the relevant documents as intimated by the Company and will be paid within
the time stipulated by the Company. While releasing prize amount, MMTV shall deduct
the tax at source (if applicable) and issue TDS certificate in the name of the GP.
A GP stands to win the OKONG scratch card any number of times during the Udam
Panam 3.0 Season [The OKONG Scratch Card option will commence from 9th October
2020].
 In case GP wins a gift through OKONG scratch card, he /she will have to collect the same
from any one Malayala Manorama bureau as intimated by MMTV.
The Company shall have the sole discretion to modify the number of OKONG Scratch
Card Winners and the OKONG Scratch Card Winners hereby undertake not to question
or to make any claims against the same.
The Company shall have the sole discretion to decide whether or not to declare the
OKONG Scratch Card Winners or the manner in which the OKONG Scratch Card Winners
is announced and the OKONG Scratch Card Winners hereby undertake not to question
or to make any claims against the manner in which the names of the OKONG Scratch
Card Winners are declared by the Company.
A randomizer software developed specifically for the purpose of selection will select the
OKONG Scratch Card Winners. It can also be used in other prize categories if deemed
necessary. The randomizer will use an appropriate method of selecting winner(s) at the
Company’s discretion. In the event of a software failure, or for any other reason, the
Company may adopt any other methodology or criteria at its sole discretion to select
from amongst the Eligible GPs, depending upon requirement and availability of time
The Company and/or its authorized agents, affiliates and representatives will rely upon
only such information as may be provided by the OKONG Scratch Card Winners at the
time of participation in the OKONG (or registration on the ManoramaMAXapp).
OKONG Scratch Card Winner is eligible for winning as a daily winner or as an additional
daily winner.

points for a OKONG for any Episode of the Show (or part thereof) commencing from
Episode no. 1 to 98. However, any GP can win daily prize only once during the above
said episodes of the show.

In furtherance to Sub clause h of Clause 10 General Terms and conditions
GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam’
Game (OKONG) this SEVENTH Addendum is made and is applicable effective from
10th December 2020.
1. In definition clause ‘s’ will be inserted which will read as follows;
“Daily Scratch Card Winner” means all GP’s who are active at the time of the telecast of
any Episode of the Show. However, not more than 50 GP’s who have attempted at least
1 question on the particular day can win daily prize (Cash/Gift) and all other GP’s who
are live in the OKONG interface during the telecast of the episode will win scratch card
points.
2. In definition clause ‘t’ will be inserted which will read as follows;
“Monthly Winner(s)” means a GP who has scored the highest cumulative OKONG
points during the calendar month.
3. In definition clause ‘u’ will be inserted which will read as follows;
“Additional Monthly Winner(s)” means top 9 GP who has scored the highest cumulative
OKONG points during the calendar month.
4. In definition clause ‘v’ will be inserted which will read as follows;
“OKONG Lucky Winner” means 10 GP’s who have attempted at least 1 OKONG
question on the particular day can win (Cash/Gift) for episodes telecast between from
19th December 2020 and 1st January 2021.
5. Clause 5 A shall be henceforth be read as under
‘5 A. OKONG Scratch Card
A GP will be eligible to win the OKONG Scratch Card on all days of telecast.
During the show telecast an anchor mention regarding the presence of the OKONG
Scratch Card will/might be made. GP who is live in the OKONG interface during the
telecast of the episode is required to virtually scratch the card upon receipt to know the
winning status. The Scratch card will entitle a GP to either Cash or gift or points. Not
more than 50 GP’s who has answered at least one question will be eligible for the
OKONG Daily Scratch Card winning (Cash or gift). The selection will be done randomly.
The OKONG Scratch Card point is only for the GP (who are live in the OKONG interface
during the telecast of the episode) who is not declared as a daily Scratch card winner
(Cash or gift) for that day.
A GP who has answered the maximum correct answers stands to win an entry to the
main game upon reaching a predetermined number of OKONG Scratch Card points.
The defined winning number of points will be intimated by MMTV through their channel
or Manormamax App. However, it is clarified that the OKONG Game points and
OKONG Scratch Card points are different and will not be clubbed.
A GP stands to win the OKONG scratch card any number of times during the Udan
Panam 3.0 Season.
The Company shall have the sole discretion to modify the number of OKONG Scratch
Card Winners and the OKONG Scratch Card Winners hereby undertake not to question
or to make any claims against the same.
The Company shall have the sole discretion to decide whether or not to declare the
OKONG Scratch Card Winners or the manner in which the OKONG Scratch Card
Winners is announced and the OKONG Scratch Card Winners hereby undertake not to
question or to make any claims against the manner in which the names of the OKONG
Scratch Card Winners are declared by the Company.
A randomizer software developed specifically for the purpose of selection will select the
OKONG Scratch Card Winners. It can also be used in other prize categories if deemed
necessary. The randomizer will use an appropriate method of selecting winner(s) at the
Company’s discretion. In the event of a software failure, or for any other reason, the
Company may adopt any other methodology or criteria at its sole discretion to select
from amongst the Eligible GPs, depending upon requirement and availability of time.
The Company and/or its authorized agents, affiliates and representatives will rely upon
only such information as may be provided by the OKONG Scratch Card Winners at the
time of participation in the OKONG (or registration on the ManoramaMAX app).

“A new clause ‘5 B Monthly / Additional Monthly Prize’ will be inserted which will
read as follows :
One GP who has scored the highest cumulative OKONG points during the calendar
month will be entitled for a monthly prize not exceeding Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two
Lakhs Only). However 9 GP who has scored the highest cumulative OKONG points
during the calendar month will be entitled for the “Additional Monthly prize not exceeding
Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each.
The Company may, at its discretion, decide to award prize to the Monthly / Additional
Monthly Prize Winner as the Company deems fit. The Monthly / Additional Monthly Prize
Winner so won shall be announced by the Company.
The Monthly / Additional Monthly Prize Winner determination will be on the basis of the
total points earned by GPs while playing for the duration of the OKONG. At the end of
each calendar month, the OKONG point meter will be reset to zero.
Where more than one Eligible GP scores the same highest number of points in a
OKONG, the Monthly / Additional Monthly Prize Winner will be determined with the help
of randomizer software developed specifically for the purpose of selection of the
Monthly / Additional Monthly Prize Winner. The randomizer will use an appropriate
method of selecting winners to break the tie, at the discretion of Company management.
In the event of a software failure, or for any other reason, the Company may adopt any
other methodology or criteria at its sole discretion to select from amongst the Eligible
GPs, depending upon requirement and availability of time.

A new clause ‘‘5 C. OKONG Lucky Prize’ will be inserted which will read as
follows
A GP will be eligible to win the OKONG Lucky Prize on all days of telecast mentioned in
definition clause v.
Not more than 10 GP’s who have attempted at least one OKONG question will be
eligible to be an OKONG Lucky winner (Cash or gift). It is clarified that daily/contestant
based winner will not be eligible for the Lucky Prize for that day. Further a GP stands to
win lucky prize only once during the period.
The Company shall have the sole discretion to modify and whether or not to declare the
OKONG Lucky Prize Winners. The OKONG Lucky Prize Winners hereby undertake not
to question or to make any claims against the same.
A randomizer software developed specifically for the purpose of selection will select the
OKONG Lucky Prize Winners. The randomizer will use an appropriate method of
selecting winner(s) at the Company’s discretion. In the event of a software failure, or for
any other reason, the Company may adopt any other methodology or criteria at its sole
discretion to select from amongst the Eligible GPs, depending upon requirement and
availability of time.
The Company and/or its authorized agents, affiliates and representatives will rely upon
only such information as may be provided by the OKONG Lucky Prize Winners at the
time of participation in the OKONG (or registration on the ManoramaMAX app).

A new clause ‘5 D disbursement of Prize’ will be inserted which will read as

follows
Upon winning (Cash or Gift) an email will be send from MMTV to the registered email id
of GP in manoramamax intimating the winnings and seeking the winner to provide the
required details (i.e Name, Address, contact details, email id. However, in case of Cash
winning, Name of the Bank, branch, Account no. and IFSC code, in addition to the
above and a duly attested copy of any government issued ID, PAN, etc) to facilitate
transfer of the winning(s). GP need to share the details within 7 days. In the case of
cash winnings, MMTV shall make the payment within 90 bank working days of receipt of
the above said details in proper order. If the details are not shared within 7 days of the
above email, the cash prize will be forfeited.
Any and all taxes and/or levies applicable on the prize money won by the GP under the
laws of India shall be borne by the GP in relation to the prize. Payment of prize money
to the Winner(s) shall be after deduction of all applicable taxes and levies and subject to
providing the relevant documents as intimated by the Company and will be paid within
the time stipulated by the Company. While releasing prize amount, MMTV shall deduct
the tax at source (if applicable) and issue TDS certificate in the name of the GP.
The Company reserves the rights to determine and/or announce the timelines and the
methodology of determining Prize Winner from time to time.
Where, (i) the Winner cannot be contacted; (ii) after being so contacted, the Winner(s)
does not claim the Prize with sufficient proof of identification as such the Winnings
stands forfeited and the next Eligible GP who has scored the same highest number of
points in a OKONG for the Show will be selected as the Winner. Where any such
announcement is made by the Company, no further claims by the original Winner who
could not be contacted or does not claim the winning, will not be entertained and the
Company will not be responsible or liable in any way whatsoever to such persons.
In case GP wins a gift through OKONG, he /she will have to collect the same from any
one Malayala Manorama bureau or such other place as intimated by MMTV at MMTV’s
sole discretion.
The RULES & REGULATIONS read with First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and
Seventh Addendum GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam
Oppam Nedam’ Game (OKONG) is amended and supplemented as set forth herein and
all other terms and conditions set out in the RULES & REGULATIONS read with First,
Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Addendum GOVERNING
PARTICIPATION IN Udan Panam ‘Oppam Kalikkam Oppam Nedam’ Game (OKONG)
shall remain unchanged, in full force and apply mutatis mutandis except as amended
herein.
