Internal vs External Attributes

The document discusses the connection between internal and external attributes of personality, and the relationship between soul, heart, and mind. It argues that internal attributes refer to internal characteristics like traits and motivation, while external attributes refer to environmental and situational factors. Both types of attributes are important for developing relationships and interactions. It also explains that the soul provides spiritual energy, the heart deals with emotions, and the mind creates knowledge and ideas. These three components are naturally connected, with the soul enabling understanding between the mind and heart. This connection helps establish a moral foundation for education by allowing innovative thinking through a harmonization of body, soul, and spirit.

Q #1:
Explain significant of both Internal& External attributes or qualities of a
man’s personality? Can we make some success story in life with the help of these
attributes in our personalities? Briefly explain. Do you think the internal & external
attributes are interlinked?

An attribute is defined as a property or characteristic of a person. Personality attributes

reflect people’s characteristic ornaments of thought, feelings. Real-life individuals
characters possess various qualities. For example, being honest, having a good sense of
humor.
Internal attribute:
These attributes refer to the process of allowing the cause of behavior
to some internal characteristic, likeability, and motivation such as traits, abilities, or
feelings, rather than to outside forces.
External attribute:
These attributes refer to describing someone's behavior as being
caused by the individual's environment or situational factors.

Significance of these attributes:
Humans are motivated to specify the causes of their
actions and behaviors. Attribution is the process by which individuals define the causes
of behavior and events as being either external or internal. When an internal attribute is
made, the cause of the given behavior is allocated to the individual's characteristics such
as ability, personality, mood, energies, or attitudes. When an external attribute is made,
the cause of the given behavior is allotted to the situation in which the behavior was seen
such as the task, other people, or social situation. These two types lead to very different
viewpoints of the individual engaging in a behavior.

Role of these attributes in life:
A good character or attribute helps you grow a winning
personality. In other words, a good character is the backbone of a captivating personality
that attracts other people. One needs to be reliable at work. You need to develop a sense
of loyalty and attachment towards your situation. The internal attribute is about our moral
boundary and principles perspectives – some of which are personally and culturally
particular; some of which are universal. While external attribute is more about outward
demonstrations of the individual self, based on how you see yourself, how you deal with
certain situations and how others see you.

These attributes are highly important for developing relationships, teamwork, and day-to-
day interaction with co-workers, teachers, family, and friends. Human attributes or
qualities that laid the framework of human character or personality include honesty,
sincerity, courage & wholeheartedness. By approaching internal & external attributes we
would be able to generate knowledge that is helpful for humanity. One should develop
positive qualities like integrity, patience, honesty in one’s character to be successful in
life, just like you would develop a garden for the best yield.

The link between internal & external attributes:
                                                                            Individual qualities or characteristics
make you the person you are, and these attributes permit you to successfully function in
your jobs. We are enjoying external and internal attributes, these are the product of
senses. Internal attributes are hypothetical. We can only show it or appeal it. We cannot
estimate or touch it. While external Attributes are qualities or features that are externally
visible e.g, sincerity, honesty, kindness, humility, etc. Internal & external attributes are
perfectly corresponding to each other when internal qualities generate the external
display.

Q #2:
What is the natural connection between soul, heart and head(mind)? How that
connection helps us in achieving fundamental goal of education, “To think
innovatively and create new knowledge.”

To understand the natural connection between soul, heart, and mind, we need to
understand what is soul, heart, and mind and what is the moral chemistry between them.
Soul:
The soul is the invisible element of the spiritual system that has intellectual energy
or intensity to maintain harmony between the physical or non-physical systems.
Heart:
The heart is the center of feelings and emotions. It deals with the intuition,
imagination, and dreams of your life.
Mind:
Mind is the set of different desires and cravings for life. It is only meant for the
creation of new knowledge, thinking, and ideas.

The linkage between soul, heart & mind:
Life evolves from mind to heart and from
heart to soul. This is the process of development, through which every human goes
through. It is known that the spiritual system works behind the physical body. The
physical structure is essential but the life of this standing structure is importantly based
on that invisible part soul. The soul is eternal & immortal and is a reflection of our
creator. Anything of the future is part of the heart and the things from the past are of your
mind. While the soul enables you to understand both the mind and heart.

When you toss with your life at the level of mind, you live with the little pleasures of life,
along with the fear and uncertainties related to life. When you rise higher to the level of
heart, you make the most out of your life, as whatever field you enter, with your interest,
it assists you, as your spiritual energy remains in your heart and thus it helps you with
each of your action.

Role of this connection:
To develop a moral foundation for any system like education,
there is a beautiful symmetry in the human body and soul. The physical structure which
carries a lot of things in the form of body organs that we will use for innovative thinking
is highly reliant on the soul. The soul is the summation of our thoughts & feelings and a
hypothetical thing attach to our hearts. Spirituality is the basic necessity while
developing harmony between body and soul. The innovative powers of the brain(head)
are infinite. This spiritually filtered blood from the heart goes to your brain(head) that
would force your brain to think innovatively and create knowledge. If you will not take
the food to soul your actions & conduct would not be looked at as pure. Head, heart &
soul when these components are assembled & harmonized they take us on the journey of
finding oneself, creator, exploring the world around us through an innovative eye. This is
a sort of basic requirement for the creation of knowledge and innovative reasoning that
our physical human body and our invisible and eternal soul is harmonized in such a tone
that whatever work we do we will be done with full spirit and passion.
