Motor for rotating tools
To sisplify tne engagerent of the take pover vith the elevant toolholder's teeth clutch,
during the turret’s indexing, the nator for the rotating tools can run at 800/100 FM

Oescripton of the operation
Starting contitions
= Turret locked vith the rotating toolholder (05) faced to the take pover in working position
~ Take power (03) engaged vith the corresponding clutch of the rotating tootholder
~ The mavenent of the motor (06) is transferred, through the gears (26), (16) and (29) to the take
over 103) and than to the rotating toolnolder
Disengagerent of the take pover (03) From the toolholder and re-engagerent. with a nev
toolholder in a nev position
Simultaneously to the unlocking of the turret. the piston (19), rakes possible the pull back of the
‘take power (03) obtaining the disengagenent. from the clutch (050) from the toolholder (05a)
During locking, the contrary sovenent of the piston (19), permits the putting forward of the clutch
‘of the take pover (03) with the logic engagenent with the nev rotating toolholder (05a).

~ insert the key (06a) on shaft’s seat (060)

3 Maintenance
‘Any kind of aintenance or disassenbly must take place with locked gears,cold surfaces
and de-energized nator
3.1 Lubrication
‘The nechanical parts related to the trasmission of the movenent to the rotating tool are
lupricated with oil vith viscosity 80 SW 90
‘The use of new lubricant can be made through the Filling hole (AL)
The lubricant, with viscosity 805W0, must be compatible with rubber ad teflon
In the data sheet underneath is indicated the max quantity of oi1 which can be filled

This operation must be done with locked turret and without pressure in the circuit

5 Use advices
5.1 Assembly of the rotating toolholder on the disk
When equipping the disk, the fixing of the rotating toolnolder it must J
fot be sade in the working position (wnere there is the clutch,tut in another position)
This instruction 1s not valid for sizes TEMA 320/400

5.2 Rotating toolholders regulation
~ Verify on the toolholder disk, the presence of the reference pins, in the positions. vhere is
{intended to use the rotating toolhalder. On the Baruffaldi disk the reference pins are
assesbled, normally, in all the positions thought. to be used with rotating toolholders
~ Loose the dovels and assembly the radial toolholder in the requested position as per description
in chapter 5,1; tighten the DIN 69860 screw (it’s not. possible to assembly the rotating
toolnolder directly in the working position)
~ Rotate the disk till the radial toolholder is in the working position
-Assenbly @ control pin in the toolnolders collet
~ Using @ comparator verify the pin's alignerent
