Scope of e-Library:
Establish e-Library with Library Management software, Installation and Configuration
Feasibility study and need assessment for selected modules mentioned below.
Analyzing and designing of the solution architecture for the web enabled Library Management
system (LMS) and Complete web portal.
Develop methodology for data security.
Design and develop the database for ICT Division e-Library Management system
Design and develop the components of ICT Division e-Library Library Management system
and Web Portal.
Standard layer architecture should be followed in software development (i.e 3 tire architecture
1. Presentation tire 2. Logical tire and 3. Data tire)
Library Management software testing and validation as per ICTD requirement.
Tuning of database and application software
Convert 1000 books in to pdf or text by OCR
Collect National and International journal and manage by LMS
Any other relevant activities to setup ICT Division e-Library Management System.
Content development for Website & LMS
Data collection and data entry in the database will be done by the bidder
Engage Resource Person for End User Training
Technology transfer through arranging training on LMS to the Library officials
Others Issues:
Provide technical support for 1 year after implementation of LMS in server at BCC data center.
Handover necessary source coding, SRS (Software requirement specification), SDD (Software
design description), DFD (Data flow diagram), Data Dictionary and software’s those will be
needed in LMS maintenance by ICTD officials at post project period.
Documentation of all reporting including user and technical manuals.

Linkup online version of different children book/content with Library ICTD e-library Portal

Software Development Platform:
1. Application development environment will be core PHP and MySQL in their latest versions using
suitable framework
2. Other Scripting language: HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, EmberJS, ReactJS, arry and CSS
and Laravel & Slim Frameworks
3. Should be hosted in Apache web server as a Web site/application
4. The bidder/Tenderer will be responsible for configuring the Application and Database server
5. Must have cross-browser consistency (especially tested in IE6-10, Mozilla, Google Chrome and
others)
6. Could be browse from Computer, Laptop, Tablet PC, IPAD, Smart phones through internet
7. The application should also be compatible with Tablet PC and Smart phone
