Introduction:
The pie charts represent population data based on age in Yemen and Italy in 2000, along
with the future predictions for 2050.

Overview:
Overall, changes in proportions of age groups are expected in both countries, including
an increase in the percentage of people over 60 years old and a decrease in those aged
0 to 14 by 2050.

Body paragraph 1:
In 2000, those in the 0 to 14 years age group constituted roughly half of Yemen’s total
population, while only 14 percent of Italian citizens were included in this category.
Senior citizens made up less than five percent of Yemen’s total population, in contrast to
approximately a quarter of the Italian population. Citizens aged 15 to 59 years old
represented Italy’s largest group just over 60 percent, whereas this group represented
slightly below half of Yemen’s inhabitants.

Body paragraph 2:
In 2050, it is predicted that the percentage of the population aged below 14 years old
will decline to 37 percent in Yemen, compared to only a three percent drop in Italy.
While senior citizens are expected to almost double in Italy, they are likely to increase
by a mere two percent in Yemen. Although the group of people aged 15 to 59 is
expected to grow in Yemen, it will be reduced by almost two thirds in Italy.

IELTS Writing task 1: How to write a bar chart?

The bar chart provided illustrates moderate changes in the percentage of

divorces in Finland and Sweden over a five-year-period.

upward trend despite certain mild fluctuations throughout the period. Finland
maintained lower rate than Sweden for most of the period. However, the former

IELTS Writing task 1: How to write a diagram?

The diagram explains the manufacturing of steel rods in the furniture industry.
Overall, the process consists of three major stages, beginning with raw materials
and ending with product inspection.
First of all, iron ore, yellow ore and carbon ore are collected to serve as raw
materials for steel rods manufacturing. And after that, these are melted in a
melting slit, where it was heated to a temperature in the range of 1300-1500°C.
The melted mass is then transferred to a smelting cabin to undergo refinement.
Next, the condensing metal is put in a pouring machine and poured into ingots.
In the next stage, the ingots are connected to a cooling reservoir, where the
temperature falls to 60-100°C. The metal later goes through special nozzles and
cool down, forming strands. Following this, the metal strands proceed to roller
that change their shapes. Next, the products are placed into a heating machine,
where they undergo a heat treatment. Subsequently, a measuring automaton
completes a surface check of the products.
Finally, the metal rods are sized by special cutters and then ID stamped before
undergoing inspection and getting ready for use.
