Assignment #3
Answer the following questions:

1. Identify and define the five aspects of a person.

 Physical
Our physical health is what most people think about when they think about
health. This is mainly because it is the physical body that often shows us the physical
signs and symptoms of either optimal or sub-optimal health. These physical signs and
symptoms are also easier to track and measure, compared to other non-physical signs
and symptoms that may be more abstract.
 Emotional
Although often overlooked, our emotional health is just as important as our
physical health especially because our emotional health can affect our physical health if
it is not prioritized.
 Social
Research has shown that the happiest people on earth have deep ties with their
friends, family, and community. This is often why religion is linked to happiness as it can
provide a deep sense of community and support, no matter what faith a person
chooses.
 Spiritual
Spiritual well-being does not necessarily mean that you need to become
religious, although both of them often have overlapping practices and principles.
Instead, your spiritual health should focus on how you connect with your inner soul and
the larger world around you.
 Mental
The last aspect of holistic health is our mental health, which often overlaps with
both our emotional and physical health. The big distinction between our mental and
emotional health though is that while our emotional health refers mostly to our daily
mood and emotions, our mental health refers to our cognitive abilities that affect how
our brain functions.

2. As an adolescent, which of the five aspects are you having most difficulty
with?
Physical, given that I’m not physical fit but I don’t have a healthy body, my
immune system is not that well, so that I have to take care of myself specially
nowadays that we have a spreading virus around the world. But I know in time I will
be physically fit and I’m taking my vitamins and other meds to improve my immune
system and have a strength body.

3. Describe the difference between emotion and feeling.

Emotions, they're physical. They can be quantified by facial expressions and
movements of the body. Feelings are made by the senses. Your power of choice lies
between the emotion you experience and the response you give to it from your higher
truth, which is feelings. Whether you're reacting or responding to people or situations,
makes you realize whether you're working with emotions or feelings.

4. How does your physical development affect your moods and behaviors?
Good physical development will have a good impact on your mood and behavior.
It'll put you in a good mood for sure, and good mood will lead to good behavior towards
you or anyone else. They're all related to it. Physical development is therefore very
important for personal growth. Because it has a mental reward. Exercise is physical
development, but it must not be seen as just that. During the process, it's falling in love
with the pain. The fact that you're willing to do a job that you usually don't feel like
putting in.

5. How do your feelings and emotions affect the way you think and behave? Cite
some personal examples.
Feelings are emotions that are meant to affect us, even though they have to be
analyzed on what scale. For example, if you are being persecuted and you know it, you
may be taking evasive action, but it does affect our behaviour. Behavior is different from
emotions, but is strongly influenced by them. ... Emotions can also directly affect our
behavior, as in the case of aggression, or behavior that focuses on hurting others.
When a person feels frustration, anger, tension, or fear, they are more likely to act
aggressively toward others.

6. What are values and how are they different from virtues? Give some examples.
Virtues and values are words that are commonly confused and misinterpreted to
have the same meaning. The fact is, however, that they are two different words with
two different meanings. Both the words "virtue" and "value" tend to relate to ethics
and morality, but the two words relate to morality and ethics in two different ways.
