SUMMARY:
On the job Training are part of a college curriculum that aims to train and orient students about the
work and their future career. OJT is very important not only to teach students their chosen career but to
show students the reality about working.
The internship was held at Royale Tagaytay Country Club in Alfonso, Cavite. It is first and foremost
a country club and the nine-hole layout is part of a larger leisure complex that has facilities for other sports
like basketball, tennis, badminton, swimming, bowling, driving range, billiards and table tennis.
During the said training, I was able to apply my knowledge and skills related to the field of my
specialization, which is Electrical Technology. I was exposed to different types of people and learned how
to practice professionalism. I was assigned in maintenance department under the supervision of Mr. Noel
Santos and Tirso Buraga. Some of my tasks during my internship were to check the electrical breaker,
change electrical bulbs, fix cables and electrical wirings, check if the appliances like air cons and
televisions are functioning well and to set up sound systems. I was also assign in graveyard shift and most
of the time on-call if there’s unexpected check-ins.
My experience in Royale Tagaytay surely will be my stepping stone to achieve my goals in life.
Because during my internship, I was able to acquire new knowledge and ability to apply what I’ve learned in
school. My immediate supervisor let me do their work, but with their guidance, for me to experience how to
become a real Electrical maintenance. According to them, experience is the best teacher in life.

INTRODUCTION:
On-the-job training (OJT) is a molding discipline that is done to be conducted by collegiate student
as part of school curriculum, that aims to orient the student with their future career according to the specific
course. Furthermore, it helps to familiarize the students how work will take after the college graduation.
OJT also test the capabilities of the student to abide the nature of their work where they can apply
their skills learned from campus. As the company see the fashion and dedication to their performance, the
student may absorb by the company after the graduation. Aside from that, your superior in the company
that you are working for as an OJT may recommend your skills to the company affiliates or to other
company that he/she knows.
In addition, aside from job experience, OJT is also advantage on job searching for fresh graduate.
It is a major consideration of future employers and may preferable over others. The employers will rate the
employee according to On-the –job training credentials.
OBJECTIVE:
On-the-job training (OJT) is a requirement and practice for college students to act like a regular
employee at a given work place. The training was given by company to train the student well.
My objective during my internship is to be familiar on the right action on the tasks given. To be
professional all the time. To be creative and enjoy every moment while working. To learn how to use time
wisely. To Finish the task/ work on time. To satisfy every client on services given. To be able to work under
pressure and less supervision. To work as a team. To maintain the credibility of the company. To apply my
knowledge and skills. To learn new things. To Make friends and to create a friendly environment.

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING ACTIVITIES:

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
One of the problems I encountered during my Training is putting wires in the breaker appropriately.
RECOMMENDATION
In this training I have learned how to properly install wires in the breaker. I have learned that the
wires you installed in the breaker is well tightened to keep it from tripping off and shutting down.
CONCLUSION
Royale Tagaytay Country Club Inc., provides an excellent service when it comes to
accommodating Guest. They also give proper training grounds for interns.
During my stay in Royale, I learned a lot from my immediate supervisor, Mr. Noel Santos. Through
his knowledge and wisdom, I was able to adjust on my working environment and able to cope up on his
training. During the said training, I was able to apply my knowledge and skills on Electrical Technology. I
also experienced how to become a Regular Employee. I was assigned on Graveyard Shift and the
manager treated me as Professional not an Intern. He made me as his assistant and explain to me the
essence of my job.
I recommend to my fellow schoolmate to have their internship at Royale Tagaytay.
