The Scenario: Assume that you are applying for the HR officer position at a prestigious
public university (e.g. UEB of VNU or Hanoi University of Science and Technology). As
part of the assessment, they request you to support the recruitment of 10 lecturers in
business administration. Candidates for the lecturer position must possess PhD degrees
from English speaking countries and be able to teach in English.
We are trying to find a well-organized, creative lecturer to hitch our well-established
department. Developing course material and curricula, inspiring meaningful discussions,
attending conferences, consulting with other academics and professionals, supervising
graduate students, grading assignments, and being a lively member of the university are
all responsibilities of the lecturer. To be successful as a lecturer, you should demonstrate
superior listening and communication skills. Outstanding candidates are able to prepare
and deliver powerful lectures and should be willing to collaborate with professionals in
and outside of their discipline.

A, A lecturer job description should include a variety of functions and roles, such as:
- Preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
- Creating curricula and course materials that can be used on multiple platforms.
- Working with other academics and lecturers to improve teaching methods and
broaden knowledge base.
- Participating in the institution's training opportunities and initiatives.
- Giving assistance to students and coworkers.
- Reading widely and producing published work in the field to stay current.

- Education / Training
Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline.
Postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline.

Some experience of teaching in relevant areas within a HE Institution with
evidence of successful learning outcomes or relevant professional experience.
Experience of presentation at academic conferences or similar settings.
Good research record or evidence of research potential or industry experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (Excellent
presentational skills).
The ability to initiate work on one's own.
The ability to assist and guide students.
Ability to communicate research findings to appropriate audiences.

Ability and willingness to work as part of a team on teaching programmes and
other school/campus initiatives.

We are looking for ten full-time business administration lecturers for University of
Economics and Business (UEB). Candidates are expected to teach a flexible set of
undergraduate and MBA courses in Business Administration areas in English.
Requirements:
- PhD in degree Business Administration or a closely-related discipline by the time
of the appointment.
- Candidates graduated from full-time PhD programs in English-speaking countries
or full-time PhD programs in English are preferred.
- College-level teaching experience is a plus.
- English proficiency: Fluent
- Working experience and professional certifications are preferred.
