1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 INTRODUCTION
There are very few online mobile stores in Nepal whose sole purpose is to sell the
product at similar price range to that of a physical store. It is also a type of E-
commerce website that only sells mobile phones. E-commerce means using the
Internet and the web for business transactions and/or commercial transactions, which
typically involve the exchange of value (e.g., money) across organizational or
individual boundaries in return for products and services. E-Commerce websites are
online portals that facilitate online transactions of goods and services through means of
the transfer of information and funds over the Internet.
The objective of this project is to develop an online mobile store and inventory control
system. A general purpose e-commerce store where product can be bought through
the Internet.
The motivation to create this project has many sources:
a. To develop a good user-friendly minimal looking website.
b. To increase my understanding of technologies like PHP, BOOTSTRAP, SQL, CSS,
JS, HTML.

1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT

In Online Mobile store, there are many problems that needs to be addressed.
a. The webpage of online mobile store is filled with ads and pop ups that effects the
user experience.

b. The products found online are not up to quality that the costumer wants.

c. The delivery system is messed up, in this age of online maps and GPS, we are still
expected to give our address manually.

1.3 OBJECTIVES
a. To help the costumer to find the best information.

1
b. To develop a user-friendly and minimal looking mobile store.
c. Making websites with less ads and popups or address them in a minimal way

1.4 SCOPE
a. It is easy to update the contents
b. It can save time of users.
c. Different brand of smartphones.

1.5 PROJECT FEATURES

The main features of this project are:
a. User friendliness
b. Provides high level of security with different level of authentication.
c. It is easier, faster and flexible.

2. BACKGROUND STUDY
2.1 Background study
Today, there are very few persons who are not using a mobile phone. Every person
uses a mobile phone for daily life communication and business purposes. To buy a
mobile we have to visit a store. That may not be efficient as it consumes time and the
prices may vary from store to store. When visiting a physical mobile store it is very
tedious process as it requires a person to visit multiple stores and it is time consuming.
So, to address that problem online mobile store comes handy. By ordering online it can
save time as we don’t have to visit a physical store and the ordered phone will be
delivered at your own place.

3. SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
3.1 System Analysis
Development of computerized systems requires analysis of the process to be digitized
in order to enable a correct system, a system that functions as required and to assist the
potential users of the system understand the general functionality of the system. The
analysis specifies the system's objectives and constraints to which designers have
to comply. The purpose of doing analysis is to transform the system’s major inputs
into structured specification.

3.2 Requirement Analysis

I. Functional Requirement
Functional requirements define the capabilities and functions that a system must
be able to perform successfully. The functional requirements of this online
mobile store include:
a. User registration.
b. User login/logout
c. Adding to cart
d. Online payment

II. Non Functional Requirement

A non-functional requirement is a requirement that specifies criteria that can be
used to judge the operation of a system, rather than specific behaviors. Some of
the non-functional requirements include:
a. There should be sufficient network bandwidth
b. Maintainability- easy to maintain
c. Must be easy to navigate
d. Performance/ response time- fast response
e. Expandability- needs to be upgradable

4
3.3 Feasibility Analysis

i. Technical
The design of the system should be minimal so that everyone who uses that website
can easily navigate. And the information that the user demands can be fulfilled by
that website.

ii. Operational
Operational feasibility is the measure of how well a proposed system solves the
problems, and takes advantage of the opportunities identified during scope definition
and how it satisfies the requirements identified in the requirements analysis phase of
system development. The operational feasibility assessment focuses on the degree to
which the proposed development projects fits in with the existing business
environment and objectives with regard to development schedule, delivery
date, corporate culture and existing business processes. To ensure success, desired
operational outcomes must be imparted during design and development.

iii. Economic
All the technologies that will be used for bringing this project into frutition are
totally free hence it is economically feasible. In the economical feasibility, the
development cost in creating the system is evaluated against the ultimate benefit
derived from the new systems. Financial benefits must equal or exceed the costs.

iv. Schedule
It is the measure of how reasonable the project time table is or the deadline is
reasonable or not. During the lack of time or the time become mandatory, we
must finish the project within a given time period.

3.4 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

a. Software requirements
i. Windows/Linux
ii. HTML
iii. CSS
iv. Javascript
v. PHP
vi. Mysql

5
b. Hardware requirements
i. Intel i5 10th gen(multi core)
ii. 4-8GB Ram
iii. HDD space 10gb
