Travelling is the most exciting thing in the world.

 I think that our modern life is impossible without


travelling. People get tired of their daily routine, they need to change the surroundings. So they go
to a travel agency, buy tickets to some nice place, pack their suitcases and set off on a journey. We
travel because we wish to see new countries and cities, visit historical places, meet new people and
taste different cuisines.

Furthemore, there are different types of holiday, which suit everybody. As for me, I adore a package
holiday, where all services are included in the price. I will be able to enjoy my holidays without
thinking about money. Package holidays are perfect for anyone who does not want to have to plan
their holiday, so I prefer it. We can travel by different means of transport: by plane, by ship, by
train, by car, by aircraft, by ferry and even on foot. It depends on our plans and preferences. I adore
travelling by plane, because it is the fastest but the most expensive means of transport.  We can
admire picturesque landscapes from the window and just enjoy our flight, but sometimes it can be
so bumpy. Some people are afraid of heights and that’s why they prefer travelling by train. I want to
add that I suffer from seasickness, so I hate journeys by sea.

It is said that travelling broadens your mind and it is absolutely true. Even a short trip where you get
to know different people and different cultures may change you completely. I consider that it is a
unique chance to see stunning views, which take our breath away. Moreover, we enrich our
knowledge about life in general and particularly about ourselves. Travelling also gives us an
opportunity to meet new interesting people, learn new languages and develop our skills. It’s the
time for relaxation and thinking. Traveling makes you more open and accepting. It is sometimes a
difficult way, but it is so exciting.
In conclusion I would like to say that travelling is the best way to spend your holidays. It is better to
travel than to spend money on things. Because things are temporary, but memories are priceless.
