Corruption is not something foreign to all of us, we often hear about it, because there
have been so many cases of this happening in Indonesia. Corruption is an illegal activity that
misuses power and funds that should be used for things that have been determined. People who
do this corruption are called corruptors or office mice. Corruption activities are very detrimental
to many parties, because they use the rights of others for their own interests. Even though the law
continues to develop because corruptors are getting smarter in looking for loopholes or
weaknesses in the law in Indonesia, so that the crimes they receive are considered light, and
slightly deter corruptors. They can even break free by redeeming the prison sentences they get.
We have to be firmer and tougher in punishing the corruptors. As is done by the State of China
by executing the criminals.

the State of China by executing the criminals. And I strongly agree if a corruptor is punished by
death, because a corruptor means he is not trustworthy, does not take responsibility properly and
because he takes what is not his right. He lives happily on the loot, while many people suffer
from his disgraceful behavior. As we all know, corruption is one of the country's social problems
that has never been resolved. Like dying growing a thousand, the corruptors seem endless and
even continue to grow. If this continues, there will be problems with state finances which will
have an impact on society as well. Therefore, to minimize this, the death penalty is a fitting
punishment that can deter them and not repeat the same mistakes.
In the Constitution number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crime in
article 2 paragraph (2) it is stated "In the event that the criminal act of corruption as referred to in
paragraph (1) is committed in certain circumstances, the death penalty can be imposed". The
article explains that corruptors can be sentenced to death under certain circumstances such as
corruption of national natural disaster funds. In my opinion, this is a punishment that is
appropriate because corruption is a very heinous act, as was done by the social minister
regarding the corruption of the Covid-19 funds. eating people's rights for their own personal
gain, the Koran has also made a lot of sense regarding social concerns. And Article 11 or Article
12 letters a and b of the Corruption Act (Tipikor). The article on bribery contains the threat of
imprisonment of between one and 20 years.

Korupsi bukanlah menjadi suatu hal yang asing bagi kita semua, kitapun kerap
mendengar akan hal itu, karena sudah banyak sekali kasus ini terjadi di Indonesia. Korupsi
merupakan kegiataan ilegal yang melakukan penyalah gunaan kuasa serta dana yang seharusnya
di gunakan untuk hal yang sudah di tetapkan. Orang yang melakukan korupsi ini disebut
koruptor atau tikus kantor. Kegiatan koruspi sangatlah merugikan banyak pihak, karena mereka
menggunakan hak orang lain untuk kepentingan diri sendiri. Meski Undang-undang terus
berkembang karena koruptor semakin pintar mencari celah atau kelemahan hukum di Indonesia,
sehingga pidana yang mereka terima di anggap masih enteng, dan sedikit membuat jera para
koruptor. Bahkan mereka bisa membebaskan diri dengan menebus hukuman penjara yang
meraka dapat. Kita harus lebih tegas dan lebih keras dalam menghukum para koruptor. Seperti
yang di lakukan oleh Negara china dengan menghukum mati para kuruptor.
Meski Undang-undang terus berkembang karena koruptor semakin pintar mencari celah
atau kelemahan hukum di Indonesia, sehingga pidana yang mereka terima di anggap masih
enteng, dan sedikit membuat jera para koruptor. Bahkan mereka bisa membebaskan diri dengan
menebus hukuman penjara yang meraka dapat. Kita harus lebih tegas dan lebih keras dalam
menghukum para koruptor. Seperti yang di lakukan oleh Negara china dengan menghukum mati
para kuruptor. Dan saya sangat setuju apabila koruptor di hukum mati, dikarenakan seorang
koruptor tersebut berarti tidak amanah, tidak bertanggu jawab dengan baik dan Karena dia
mengambil yang bukan hak nya. Dia hidup bahagia dengan hasil curian, sedangkan banyak
masyarakat menderita akibat perilaku tak terpujinya.
Seperti yang kita tahu koruptor adalah salah satu masalah sosial negara yang tak pernah
kunjung usai terselesaikan. Bagai mati tumbuh seribu, para koruptor seakan tak habis dan malah
terus bertambah. Jika hal ini terus dibiarkan, maka akan timbul masalah pada keuangan negara
yang nantinya akan berdampak juga kepada masyarakat. Maka dari itu, untuk meminimalisir hal
tersebut hukuman mati adalah hukuman pas yang mampu membuat mereka jera dan tak
mengulangi kesalahan yang sama. Dalam UUD nomor 31 tahun 1999 tentang Pemberantasan
Tindak Pidana Korupsi dalam pasal 2 ayat (2) di sebutkan “Dalam hal tindak pidana korupsi
sebagaimana dimaksud dalam ayat (1) dilakukan dalam keadaan tertentu, pidana mati dapat di
jatuhkan”. Pasal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa koruptor bisa dihukumi mati dengan keadaan
tertentu seperti mengkorupsi atas dana bencana alam nasional, Menurut saya itu termasuk
hukuman yang setimpal karena korupsi adalah perbuatan yang sangat keji, seperti yang di
lakukan oleh mentri sosial terkait korupsi dana covid-19, mereka tega memakan hak orang untuk
kepentingan pribadi mereka, Al-Quran juga telah banyak menjelaskan terkait kepedulian sosial.
Dan Pasal 11 atau Pasal 12 huruf a dan b UU Tindak Pidana Korupsi (Tipikor). Pasal tentang
suap itu memuat ancaman hukuman penjara antara satu hingga 20 tahun.
