SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN

I. Objectives 

At the end of one hour discussion, Grade 1 pupils are expeted to:

a. Identify patterns around the classroom.

b. Appreciate the importance of patterns in one’s life; and

c. Complete the given patterns

II. Subject Matter

Topic:  Patterns

Materials: Multimedia presentation, basket, flash cards

III. Procedure

A. Preliminary Activities

1. Classroom management 

Prayer

Greetings

Checking of Attendance

B. Presentation
The teacher will introduce the new lesson on patterns

C. Comparison and Abstraction


1. The teacher will divide the class in several groups by counting from 1-
10. He/she will pick a number from 1-10. The selected number will be
representative of each group who will stand in front of the class.
2. The teacher will give a category such as:
a. A length of hair:
Long hair, short hair, long hair, short hair
b. Height
Tall, short, tall ,short
c. Use of eyeglasses
With eyeglasses, without eyeglasses

D. Generalization

The teacher will let the students share what they have learned from the lesson.
the teacher will ask the students on what they have learned which will helps them
in their daily life.

D. Application

The class will group by row and each group will choose a representatives. The
teacher will present the big worksheet in the class. The representatives will have
a draw lots. The number that will presents is the corresponding number that they
are going to answer in the worksheet. The teacher will explain how the answers
complete the patterns.

IV. Evaluation
Write true if the statement is true and false if the statement is wrong.
