BOQ-HVAC SYSTEM

General Notes:

1 All items of work under this Contract shall be executed strictly to fulfill the requirements laid down under “Basis of Design” in the specifications. Type of equipment, material
specification, methods of installation and testing and type of control shall be in accordance with the specifications, approved shop drawings and the relevant Indian Standards,
however capacity of each component and their quantities shall be such as to fulfill the above mentioned requirement.

2 The unit rate for all equipment or materials shall include cost in NPR for equipment and materials including all taxes and duties and also including forwarding, freight, insurance and
transport into Contractor’s store at site, storage, installation, testing, balancing, commissioning and other works required.

3 The rate for each item of work included in the Schedule of Quantities shall, unless expressly stated otherwise, include cost of:

a. All materials, fixing materials, accessories, appliances tools, plants, equipment, transport, labour and incidentals required in preparation for and in the full and entire execution,
testing, balancing, commissioning and completion of work called for in the item and as per Specifications and Drawings.

b. Wastage on materials and labour.

c. Loading, transporting, unloading, handling/double handling, hoisting to all levels, setting, fitting and fixing in position, protecting, disposal of debris and all other labour
necessary in and for the full and entire execution and for the job in accordance with the contract documents, good practice and recognize principles.

d. Liabilities, obligations and risks arising out of Conditions of Contract.

e. All requirements of Specifications, whether such requirements are mentioned in the item or not. The Specifications and Drawings where available, are to be read as
complimentary to and part of the Schedule of Quantities and any work called for in one shall be taken as required for all.

f. In the event of conflict between Schedule of Quantities and other documents including the Specifications, the most stringent shall apply. The interpretation of the
Consultant/Project Manager shall be final and binding.

4 The Contractor shall procure and bring Materials/Equipment to the site only on the basis of drawings approved for construction and shop drawings and not on the basis of Bill of
Quantities which are approximate only. This also applies to the Contractor’s requisition for Owner supplied materials.

5 The work shall be carried out in conformity with the HVAC drawings and within the requirements of architectural, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Structural and other
specialized services drawings.

6 The contractor shall cooperate with all trades and agencies working on the site. He shall make provision for hangers, sleeves, structural openings and other requirements well in
advance to prevent hold up of progress of the construction schedule. All supports to the civil structure shall be provided with anchor fasteners.

7 On award of the work, contractor shall submit a schedule of construction in the form of a PERT chart or BAR chart for approval of the Project Manager.

8 On award of the work the contractor shall be issued two (2) sets of consultant’s drawings. The drawings shall be the basis of contractor’s shop drawings.

9 Shop drawings are detailed working drawings coordinated with other trading work, which incorporate the contractor’s details for execution of the work and incorporate equipment
manufacturer’s details and dimensions to ensure that the same can be installed in the space provided.

10 All shop drawings should detail pipe routing and levels, showing location of other services at crossings etc., cable runs, route cable trays and all allied works and must be fully
coordinated with other services, before execution of the works.

11 All shop drawings will be made on AutoCAD and colored prints has to be produced for site work.

12 Any pipe crossing fire rated wall or floor as per fire compartmentation will be provide with higher size of GI sleeve.

13 This Schedule shall be fully priced and the extensions and totals duly checked. The rates for all items shall be filled in INK including NIL items.

14 No alteration whatsoever is to be made to the text or quantities of this Schedule unless such alteration is authorised in writing by Consultant. Any such alterations, notes or additions
shall, unless authorized in writing, be disregarded when tender documents are considered.

15 In the event of an error occurring in the amount of the Schedule, as a result of wrong extension of the unit rate and quantity, the unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall be regarded as
firm and the extensions shall be amended on the basis of rates.

16 Any error in totaling in the amount column and in carrying forward total shall be corrected. Any error, in description or in quantity, omission of items from this Schedule shall not
vitiate this Contract but shall be corrected and deemed to be variation required by the Consultant/Project Manager.

17 Rates have been called for a number of items of works, as alternatives which, for the present do not form part of the total value of tender. However the rates for these items shall be
quoted, with due care so that in the event of choice of an alternative item of work, said rate shall form part of the contract and shall not violate the contract any way.

18 The contractor shall , from time to time, clear away all debris and excess materials accumulated at the site failing which the same shall be done by Project Manager at contractor’s
risk and cost and cost of clean up shall be deducted from the contractors prorata bill.

19 After the fixtures, equipment and appliances have been installed and commissioned, contractor shall cleanup the same and remove all plaster, paints, stains, stickers and other
foreign matter or discoloration leaving the same in a ready to use condition.

20 On completion of all works, contractor shall demolish all stores, remove all surplus materials and leave the site in a broom clean condition, failing which the same shall be done by
the Project Manager at the Contractor'’ risk and cost. Cost of the cleanup shall be deducted from the contractor’s bills on pro-rata basis in proportion to his contact value.

A. EQUIPMENT

1 Supply, installation, testing & Comissioning of Modulating outdoor units,with scroll compressors with capacity
controlling compressor, specialpre-coated fins, panel, corrosion resistant & hydrophillic treatment coated condenser,
variable speed based condenser fan, electrical & microprocessor panel, isolating valves, factory gas charged (R-407 or
R-410 a) and all the necessary accessories for proper functioning of theunits, having following approximate capacities.
The unit shall also have heating provision during winter season. Capacity as listed below.

Capacities of machines to be selected at 45 Deg C ambient condition. The unit capacities shall be after taking deration
into account due to copper piping lengths:

All the machines shall be selected with minimum COP of 3.7 (at 100% Load) at AHRI conditions (35deg C Outdoor
Conditions).

VRF based outdoor unit machines as described above.

Supply of imported portion of above VRF based outdoor unit at CIF Dubai.

Indicate for all VRF based outdoor unit port charges, port handling charges, other local duties, loading, transportation /
insurance upto site, octroi charges and all other taxes & incidentals complete till delivered at site.

Custom duty and counterveiling duty against licence for the above imported equipments.

Note: Painted M.S. angle stand (With one coat of primer and two coats of enamel paint) for outdoor unit must be
included in the cost.

2 Supply, installation, testing & comissioning of VRF based indoor units complete with LCD display Corded remote
controller having following approximate capacities. Quoted price shall include the price of factory fitted drain pump.

Sound level of VRF based Indoor Unit shall not exceeding 45 dB (A)

Total static pressure of VRF based indoor unit shall be as per the site requirement & same shall be checked by Vendor,
accordingly unit model to be provided.

5 HEAT RECOVERY UNITS (VRF BASED)

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of sectionalised construction double skin blow thru / draw thru type,
two tier HEAT RECOVERY UNIT as per specification each complete with following :

A Supply air Section

a) Fresh air inlet damper and Pre filter (MERV 8) & Fine Filter (MERV 13) in supply air stream. Filter shall be sized
for air velocity of 350 fpm.

b) Supply air forward curved/plug fans shall be with efficiency >75%.

c) Heat recovery Enthalpy wheel, located between fresh air and exhaust air streams designed for fresh air and exhaust
air quantity for each Energy recovery unit as given below. Efficiency of Heat recovery unit >75%.

d) 6 R Deep DX Type cooling coil shall be provided. Coil size shall be selected for air velocity of 500 fpm.

e) Squirrel cage induction motors suitable for 415 ± 10% volts, 50 Hz, AC supply meeting criterion as per ASHRAE
standard 90.1-2017 and high efficiency (IE 2).

f) Fan belt drive package & Vibration isolators.

f) Fan outlet velocity not exceeding 10 mps.

B Return air stream

a) Return air inlet damper, Pre filter (MERV 8) in return air stream. Filters shall be sized for air velocity of 350 fpm.

b) Return air forward curved/plug fans shall be with efficiency >75%.

6 Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of INLINE FANS suitable for installing in any position in vertical or
horizontal ducts. The casing shall be double skin, internally acoustically lined and constructed of galvanised steel. The
fan shall be DIDW with forward curve impeller fitted with maintenance free external rotor motor. The motor shall be
suitable for 220±10% volt single phase 50 cycles AC supply. All units shall be complete with duct flexible connector
and volume control damper and static pressure or to suit the system, shall be as follows:

E. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

1 Control Panel for Heat Recovery Unit-1

Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the following cubicle type, dead front, sheet
steel, and wall mounted control panels including anchoring into the wall, wiring and earthing terminating into MPCB in
each panel shall be provided by the electrical contractor

All wiring, control & power cable, cable tray and GI earthing of motors from the panel shall be included. Please refere
specification for cable size.

All outgoing shall be provided with Stop / Manual /Auto selector switch to facilitate remote operation through BAS. All
starters shall be provided with potential free Contact

The panel shall include the following components and accessories.

a. MCCB with over-load relay and single phase preventer as per the ratings given below, suitable for motor duty and able
to withstand fault level of 20 KA.

b. Wiring for micro switch for stopping the fan when fire damper closes.

c. For on/off/remote and local operation, 3 pole single throw switch shall be provided in each AHU panel to facilitate
override of the automatic operation

Incoming

40 amp 4 pole MCCB ('C' curve) alongwith following accessories.

i 96 mm x 96 mm 0-500 volt digital voltmeter with selector switches-1 set

ii 0-40 amps digital electronic ammeter with selector switch and 40/5 amps 5VA, CL.1CTs – 1 set

c. 1 No suitable rating TPN MCB for 0.5 HP to HRW wheel Auto DOL Starter with auto / manual switch, overload relay,
single phasing preventor, ON/OFF/Trip indication lamps, ON/OFF push buttons, contactors and suitable nos. of
potential free contacts for remote/ local operations, indication & necessary interlocking as required. (For Wheel)

2 CONTROL CABLES:

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of PVC sheathed stranded FRLS wires in MS conduits recessed / surface
including cutting, chesing the wall surface and making for the same, sizes as given below of copper conductor including
terminations complete as required.

b) Communication wiring of 2 core x 0.75 sqmm copper sheilded cable including PVC conduits/ rasway/ cable tray/

4. Required Water & Electricity for Work execution shall be provided at site free of cost at one point.

5. Sufficient Space for Store and Office set up shall be provided at site at free of cost.

6. Required Civil work: Not Included in above prices but opening in bricwork and repairning for ductings are included in this price.
