Durbar Safe Load

This document provides a safe load table for mild steel platforms and large floor areas of varying thicknesses. It specifies loads in kilonewtons per square meter that floor plates of different thicknesses can support over given breadths when securely bolted down on all four sides. The loads are calculated based on a maximum stress of 165N/mm^2. Deflection is limited to the span divided by 200. Loads must be reduced and deflections checked if plates are supported but not bolted down.
