◦ Ni-based super alloys are metallic materials with exceptional combinations of creep and oxidation
resistance at high temperatures. Wrought alloys are hot formed at high temperatures and
subsequently annealed and aged.
◦ The final mechanical properties of the alloys are a combination of the grain size generated during
the process and the precipitation state after aging. In fact, precipitation phenomena is complex for
those alloys, which contains up to 12 different elements.
◦ Haynes 242 was deformed at 4 different temperatures and strain rates. The variation of these
parameters on the stress strain flow curves were analyzed and study has made on the micro
structure evolution and recrystallized grain size.
