DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT
Date: January 13, 2022
Time Started: 7:45 PM Time Finished: 10:52 PM
Total Hour/s Rendered: 3 hour and 2 minutes
Planned Activity: Recycled used paper (Basket)
Objective/s:
To helps protect the environment
To learn how to make paper -reuse of a recyclable products
To reduce waste
Narrative Experience (Process):
- The process of making this project is kind a hard because it’s my first time doing this
recycled paper but in basket form, so it’s a bit challenging for me. I first prepare my used
bond paper, the paper that I’m going to use forming a basket is from my mom’s scratch
paper from printing so many modules and other stuff. Our old glue, that glue is really old,
form what I remembered I bought that when I was in grade 11 because we have a project
that needed a glue. A stapler from my sister and a hardboard (anything that is hard
because you will be going to use it as the base of the basket) from my drawer. A scissor of
course and lastly my patient of making this. Since I have now the materials, I started
rolling some (a lot) paper, I spend about 1 hour of rolling papers because the basket needs
a lot of foundation so our product will be beautiful and sturdy. After having enough paper
rolls, I now assemble the basket one by one.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- During the making the foundation of my basket, I realized that recycling some of our
scratch paper will lead to reduce the pollution and save energy. It can also be our hobby
because you’re not just happy doing your hobby but you’re also saving many things. So,
it’s a great opportunity to have this kind of things, that’s why I’m glad that I choose this as
my community outreach.

DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT
Date: January 14, 2022
Time Started: 7:00 PM Time Finished: 9:40 PM
Total Hour/s Rendered: 3 hours and 40 minutes
Planned Activity: Recycled used paper (Origami vase with flowers)
Objective/s:
To helps protect the environment
To learn how to make paper -reuse of a recyclable products
To reduce waste
Narrative Experience (Process):
- In the first days I make a basket, in the second day I think of something that will benefit
me also and I look at my desk and its kind a boring so decided to make a small origami base
with a little flower in it. The materials are very simple because the paper that I’m going to use
is the same as the basket paper and last is pair of scissors, and my patient of making this. Since
my materials is now complete, I cut my used paper into small little squares, and the folding’s
begins. I also spend 1 hour and 30 minutes of folding those small squares, to believe it or not
it’s really hard to fold that paper! After I fold so many papers, I will now be able to start
putting all together so we can now create a vase. it super easy to assembly unlike the basket but
I took a lot of time making the foundation will be durable enough to make it a pretty vase. and
after doing all that stuff, I make two simples to make flowers so my vase will a have a touch of
color to it.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- My learning while making this origami vase with flowers is that we should appreciate
our nature more because nature is beautiful with a lot of flowers surrounded by the big and
amazing trees. That’s why we should prevent our nature from destroying it by the waste that
we humans are making. We should think our nature by throwing anything from anywhere
especially in ocean and lakes. By doing that were putting the creature living in it endanger.
Making your scratch paper and plastic into a reusable stuff like paper vase, flowers, and
stationary stuff that we students can use it in our everyday life.

DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT
Date: January 17, 2022
Time Started: 5:22 PM Time Finished: 6:58 PM
Total Hour/s Rendered: 1 hour and 20 minutes
Planned Activity: Recycled used paper (Origami vase)
Objective/s:
To helps protect the environment
To learn how to make paper -reuse of a recyclable products
To reduce waste
Narrative Experience (Process):
- In the last day of doing this environmental activity, the activity that I did is also an
Origami vase but without flower. The materials are also the same as the other origami vase that
I did last Friday but my material in it is a magazine. I realized that if you used a magazine, it’s
less easy for me to put it all together. My other materials are scissor and of course my patient
while doing this activity. Like the other vase, I cut a lot of square pieces of magazine to paper
to form a vase. actually, I took about 30 minutes of folding because I now know the
techniques on how to fold faster, so after that I now assemble them one by one to have a
beautiful outcome. This product is a little bigger than the first vase that I’ve made but all in all
it’s pretty.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- In my three days of making environmental activity, the major realization that I only
realized while making the origami vase is that we should appreciate the people who
volunteered recycling. Those people are amazing because they put their heart while doing that
kind of activity that will surely help mother nature. As a student we should practice doing
volunteered activity in our community because our community also needs our help such us
recycling. Doing this recycling will also help to open our mind regarding to the environment
and lastly, we can learn different experiencing by volunteering with other people by doing the
activity with them.

DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT
Date: January 18, 2022
Time Started: 8:20 PM Time Finished: 9:35 PM
Total Hour/s Rendered: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Planned Activity: Seminar (The effects of Covid-19 and other Variants to people)
Objective/s:
To have an Information about covid and other variants
To gain more knowledge about the pandemic
To encourage them to spread awareness to other people
Narrative Experience (Process):
- Making the presentation that I will using in my mini seminar with my selected audience
in Canva is actually fun because I got to play with the different elements, colors, and of course
the design. Before I put the information to the ppt, I first gathered information regarding to my
topic which is “The effects of covid-19 and other variants to people”, that information is form
the reliable sources that is true and not fake. As a presenter in the seminar, I make sure that my
information is accurate and have a lot of facts information because I want my audience to learn
something and to have an awareness to current pandemic that we are experiencing right now.
After gathering I can now put the information and start putting some design so it can be
attractive to the audience. After that I start practicing my presentation and learning it because
we will never know that possible question from the audience, so we must prepare ourselves.
After one day of preparation, I now presenting the ppt to them. I’m super nervous while
speaking but overall, it’s fun discussing the topic to them.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- There’s so many learning that I’ve learn while making the topic that I recently
discussed to them. One of them is that having a mild symptom of covid is super scary because
you will never know the possibilities of the outcome. And the number of covid patient right
now is rising so rapidly and people nowadays is sick, even some of my classmate right now is
sick, so that’s why we should always be careful to our surroundings. Avoid leaving your house
just for fun, stay at your home and be obedient to the protocol regarding to the covid-19. I
learned that we should be cautious because prevention is better than cure.

DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT
Date: January 19, 2022
Time Started: 8:00 PM Time Finished: 9:06 PM
Total Hour/s Rendered: 1 hour and 6 minutes
Planned Activity: Seminar (How can Mask prevent you from Covid-19?)
Objective/s:
To have an Information about covid and other variants
To gain more knowledge about the pandemic
To encourage them to spread awareness to other people
Narrative Experience (Process):
- My second and last day of making presentation regarding to my new topic which is
“How can Mask prevent you from covid-19?), I chose this topic because despite of
experiencing this pandemic and people are already dying, some people still can’t believe that.
People believing that wearing mask is only a play and it’s only just a design which is not true,
so my seminar for today is about mask. First, I gathered my information about the topic and it’s
from a reliable source that only facts are written. Giving this information to them will
strengthen their knowledge regarding on how mask will help us from the covid -19 and other
variants. Second, is that I practice again my speaking so my deliver will be good in the exact
presentation. And the day has come, I presented my topic to my selected audience, but today is
different because I see different faces and I’m so happy that I can spread information to many
people.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- My last day of my mini seminar with my selected audience, my realization is that even
though people see the news about covid and other variants they still don’t believe it because in
their mind it’s only made up by the government. It’s hard to see people like that because our
frontliner is doing their best to make sure that people will cure from the virus that is spreading
everywhere. I learned that we student should put an awareness through social media rearing to
the rapid spread of the virus because of that people will open their mind that the virus is real
and not just a made-up story from the government.

DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT
Date: January 20, 2022
Time Started: 7:00 AM Time Finished: 8:00 AM
Total Hour/s Rendered: 1 hour
Planned Activity: Zumba with friends (Virtually)
Objective/s:
The people will engage in a vigorous cardiovascular workout of traditional Zumba
To enhance boost, you heart health
It will improve your coordination
To socialize with other people
Narrative Experience (Process):
- Today is my first day of Zumba with friends; in fact, it's our first time doing this
activity together and getting up early in the morning because we're not the type of people who
get up at 7 a.m. So, it's a little difficult for us to achieve this, but the whole process is
enjoyable since we're doing it together. To begin, we conducted our morning routine after
waking up at 6:50 a.m. and began at 7:00 a.m. Second, we began warming up our muscles in
order to improve our dance by increasing our movement. lastly, we chose Rica as our day's
leader, and we followed her whatever movement she does. Of course, after 30 minutes, we
take a rest before continuing. We quit Zumba at 8:00 a.m. since we have a class at 10:00 a.m.
and only have two hours to do our tasks regarding to the subject.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- I learned that doing with friends is very fun, it’s fun seeing your friends doing the
activity with you. I’m happy that I got to have a supportive friend with me. I realized that
doing an activity with your people will lead you to a greater foundation of relationship that will
strengthen and will last longer. Because of that we not just having fun we are exchanging our
thoughts and learning from their experiences.

Narrative Experience (Process):
- It’s sad that this day is our last day of doing this activity, like yesterday we woke up
pretty early because we have a class start at 10:00 am. But today is different because our friend
Rica woke us by calling us from messenger, and personally I’m kind a tired because of last
night activities. But I don’t have a choice, so I get up from my bed do my morning routine and
opening my laptop because our venue of Zumba is virtual only. Of course, we start by warming
up our head-to-toe body part so we can be flexible. Our warmup session took about 8 minutes,
and our leader for today Zumba is mark because Rica’s she’s having a problem with her
internet. We immediately started our Zumba session. Like yesterday we take a break after 30
minutes, and after that we continued doing the Zumba. Overall, it’s fun.
Learning Insight/ Realization:
- My takeaway from today's last activity is that Zumba can benefit us in a variety of
ways. Zumba has both physical and mental health advantages. Moderate-intensity dance has
been related to improved cardiovascular health and cognitive advantages in studies. Zumba
practitioners, in particular, report feeling more self-sufficient and purposeful in their lives. It's
beneficial to both your body and mind. It's also quite simple to execute; in fact, your youngster
can do it because it's the type of workout that is suitable for people of all ages. So, grab your
girlfriends and get ready to go. And, most importantly, doing Zumba with your family and
friends is a lot of fun.
