This document describes a device that allows emergency starting of a Toyota vehicle with a smart key system from a long distance. The device consists of a car scanner placed inside the vehicle near the door antenna and a key scanner that can detect the smart key from up to 6 meters away. When both scanners are within range of the key and vehicle, the key scanner relays a signal from the vehicle to the key and back, allowing the vehicle to be unlocked and started from up to 300 meters away. The scanners use lithium polymer batteries for extended operation time between charges.

Toyota Smart Key Long Distance Emergency Start System

1.FUNCTIONS

¾ This device is designed for starting the car with Smart Key System on the distance

2.Description
Device consists of two parts: Car Scanner and Key Scanner with Bluetooth Headsets to listen status signals

Car scanner should be placed near Door Antena in the range approx. 0.7 to 1.0 m

CarScanner and Bluetooth headset

After opening the door CarScanner need to place inside the car and Engine can be started.

KeyScanner should be placed near the Key (up to 6m distanse).


Distance between CarScanner and KeyScanner can be up to 200-300 m (depends of wave interference)

Position of the CarScanner and KeyScanner

When the CarScanner in the car field and the Key in the KeyScanner field – signal from the car
transmits to the Key and answer from the Key transmits back to the car via CarScanner and
KeyScanner, this means that car can be opened and started on the distance up to 300 m form the Key.

Both scanners use very powerfull Li-Pol batteries for long work time .
