Event Management System
Event management system project is for management of festivals,
conferences and events. Main objective to make a user friendly desktop
application for event organizers for managing their orders. This project
will help them to choose decoration from list of panel. This vb project will
also help in cost estimation of the event.
Planning is most important for the success of any event or
function. Proper planning makes your work easy. Decoration is the main
part of any event or function. Planning of decoration is a tedious work. It
involves every little thing about lighting, seating arrangement, stage etc.
With this application every part of an event like menu detail, music type,
venue of event etc. can be pre planned. For planning of new event a
new order is added. After giving it any meaningful name other details are
chosen from the list menu according to the customers need and interest.
This project also keeps record of old customers. It is very useful for
promoting new updates and service. This system will save time of
planning and makes process fast.

Applications of the project:
The scope of this project is limited to standalone system or
networking. Multiple users can access this system in networking
environment. Every user has its own user id and password. This project
provide following facilities:
Facility to plan meeting, functions etc
New customer registration
Get idea about customers need according to his previous orders
Reducing paper working for calculation etc. All calculation work is
done automatically by the system.
