Quantitative Analysis Method

This document discusses research methodology for quantitative analysis. It describes the key components of research methodology including research philosophy, approach, methods, data collection, and references. Specifically, it notes that the researcher has adopted a positivism philosophy, deductive approach, quantitative research method, and primary data collection through interviews. The purpose is to objectively analyze numerical data and facts to effectively conduct the research study.

Research Methodology

Research Methodology can be defined as one of the processes that is used by the researcher

to select and analyse data in terms of determining the topic in the research study (Shahar et

al., 2019). For the proper valuation of research there are different research methods that can

be considered like positivism philosophy, deductive approach, survey etc.

Research Philosophy

Research philosophy can be defined as the way that is helpful in sorting the issues in the

research study. This is the way by which proper data is collected as well as research problem

is attained in an effective manner. It comprises of different types of research philosophy such

as realism, positivism, pragmatism etc. In the research study, the positivism research

philosophy is selected by the researcher. This is defined as the research philosophy that

considers facts through the observation (Apuke, 2017). Here the data is attained on the basis

of statistical data. The reason of selecting this particular research study is that it is majorly

focused on the factual information as well as statistical information in the positivism

research. It also helps in attaining the positive outcomes for the research study. Apart from

this, this helps the researcher to collect the facts and attain the actual data. This would help in

attaining the valid outcomes.

Research Approach

Research approach can be defined as the approach that also helps the researcher to attain the

positive outcomes for the research study. Research approach comprises of different

approaches such as inductive approach and deductive approach. It has been determined that

for conducting the quantitative research study the researcher has adopted deductive

Approach. Deductive approach research is the approach where the assumptions and theories

are justified with the help of primary research outcomes. On the other hand, there is
3

requirement of hypothesis in in kind of research approach within the research study. The

major reason of selecting this kind of research is that it focuses on the facts that are known as

well as theories that showcase validity of the research outcomes (Rutberg, and Bouikidis,

2018). It has been examined that through the inductive approach the proper valid outcomes

are attained in a proper manner. The proper selection of research topic is attained by the

researcher through the selection of deductive approach.

Types of Research Method

Research method comprises of different types like qualitative and quantitative. For

conducting the research study in an effective manner, the researcher has adopted quantitative

research method. Quantitative research method is one of the methods that rely on the

numerical data. It includes age, weight, height etc. It is one of the research processes where

the information is analysed using the statistical data. The major reason of selecting the

research method is that it helps in attaining the actual outcomes which would be beneficial

for the researcher in conducting the research study (da Silva, 2017). Through the quantitative

research study, the survey can be conducted and attain the real data from the people regarding

the research topic. It has been depicted that researcher helps in attaining the facts and figures

to attain the quantitative data. This would be quite beneficial for attaining the good outcomes.

Data Collection

Data collection is defined as the research study process where the information is collected

from large number of populations as the sample. There are two types of data collection

method that is Primary and secondary data collection. It has been depicted that researcher has

chosen the primary data collection method for the quantitative research study. It is defined as

the first-hand data that is collected by the researcher own. It includes survey, focus group,

interview etc. The major reason of selecting the primary data is that the actual information is

attained in an effective manner (Basias, and Pollalis, 2018). It has been examined that the

researcher has used interview method to collect the information in an effective manner. At

last, it can be said that collecting the views from the participants helps the researcher to attain

the valid outcomes.
