Title: Mock Drill
1.0 Objective: The purpose of this procedure is to define planned & effective
immediate Emergency response system to handle emergency
situations.
2.0 Scope: This procedure outlines the on-site emergency response procedures
followed at Hyderabad Chemical Products limited.

3.0 Responsibility:

3.1 Manager– EHS is responsible for preparation or revision of OSEP and


for conducting of training programs to all the personnel.

3.2 All the employees shall strictly follow the instructions in case of
emergency

4.0 Accountability: Head - EHS

5.0 Procedure:

5.1 In case of any incident, the identifier shall intimate the same to other
colleagues through oral communication system for brining the
alertness.

5.2 Alarming can be

5.2.1 Oral communication

5.2.2 Electrical siren which is operated electrically

5.3 Incase if block/ building evacuation is required, decision shall be


taken by building manager and alert the workers by oral signal or by
mega phone.

5.4 Plant evacuation, if required, shall be announced only by the plant in
charge/ site controller.

5.5 For plant evacuation emergency siren codes are as follows

5.5.1 Announcing Emergency 30 sec Blow long siren and 5 sec stop
for 3 mn.

5.5.2 All clear siren: 2 mins. Long blow

5.7.1 Mock drill shall be conducted based on different emergencies


anticipated at least once in six months and obtained feedback
on the effectiveness of on-site emergency plan and
