Structural Shell Design Analysis

This document summarizes the analysis and design of a doubly curved concrete shell. It includes calculations for determining load components, stresses, and reinforcement requirements. Key steps include: 1) Calculating dead and live loads 2) Determining meridional and circumferential force resultants under these loads 3) Computing stresses due to these forces 4) Checking for buckling in compression 5) Sizing reinforcement for tensile forces The analysis is conducted according to Indian code IS 2210 and results indicate the shell design satisfies code requirements for strength and stability.
