Physics Mod89 q4 g9 Diamond Louver Pulga

This document contains information about Jenica Francheska S. Ramos' MOD 8.1 and MOD 9 assignments, which discuss power generation and distribution systems as well as geothermal power plants in the Philippines. It lists the key components of a power system from production to transmission to distribution and ends with a table listing geothermal power plants in the Philippines along with their capacities and locations. The document also analyzes the efficiency of different engines and how increasing geothermal power plant capacity could be beneficial for renewable energy production.

3. Increasing the capacity of our geothermal power plants is a fantastic idea. It's a
possibility. Yes, because renewable energy is less dangerous to use than nonrenewable
energy.

II.
Heat engines absorb heat from the hot reservoir to increase their eternal energy. The heat is
then used to do some work. The remainder of the heat is expelled into a cold reservoir. It's like
geothermal power plants. In geothermal power plants, steam is used to generate electricity. Hot
water reservoirs a few miles or more beneath the earth's surface produce steam. Steam turns a
turbine, which turns a generator, which produces electricity.
