This is our task week 12 “Free Time”.
A: Hello Ariana. Nice to see you. How are you today?
B: Hi Nicolás. Good to meet you again. I’m perfect and how about you?
A: Thanks for asking, I’m doing fine because we are on vacation. Tell me, what do you do on your
spare time?
B: Well, I get up very early, do exercise, make lunch, watch videos and study English.
A: Wow You do many activities. So, do you get up at 6a.m. every day? And who do you eat breakfast
with?
B: Yes, I do. I need to sleep for 8 hours. I eat breakfast with my father. For that, I do the shopping at
the supermarket at 7 o’clock.
A: Great! When do you do exercise? Do you like it?
B: I work out at the gym from Monday to Friday. Yes, I like it very much. It helps me feel relaxed.
A: Certainly! What time do you make lunch? And what do you cook on the weekend?
B: I arrive home late, so I make lunch at 3 o´clock. I manage to stick to a diet, but I cook roast meat
with vegetables on the weekend.
A: Wow I would like to try that dish. And what sort of videos do you watch?
B: I watch entertaining videos on YouTube platform. My favourite channel is “The Late Late Show
with James Corden”.
A: How wonderful! I love it, too. By the way, do you walk around the park on Saturday morning?
B: No, I don’t. I ride mi bike around the park and listen to music on Sunday morning.
A: Okay. And Where do you study English? When do you have lessons?
B: Oh, I study English at Britanico institute. I have lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
A: Interesting! My little brother studies there as well. Do you enjoy online activities?
B: Yes, I do. I shop online at night, before I drink a cup of tea and go to bed at 11p.m. Also, I post a few
comments on Tiktok.
A: Good. What do you do in the evening? Do you read the news?
B: Splendid question! I do housework at 8:15 in the evening. No, I don’t read the news. I prefer
chatting with my close friends.
A: I see. I would say, you are a busy woman.
B: Really? Now, what do you do in your free time?
A: Let me think. I play games, listen to music and ride a motorcycle.
B: Everything seems amusing! But what types of games do you play? When do you do that?
A: Yeah. I play Valorant, Minecraft, dota 2 and Aimlab from Tuesday to Sunday. I drink two or three
cups of coffee as well.
B: So, do you play those videogames at night?
A: Yes, I do. I play them at twenty to eleven in the evening. Tha’s why, drinking coffee helps me be
awake.
B: Definitely! And what kind of music do you listen to? Do you love the band Twenty-One Pilots?
A: It depends on my sense of humor. Broadly speaking, I listen to indie, rap and electronic. Yes, I do.
Its songs are excellent.
B: You’re exactly right. Do you know how to cook? Where do you eat lunch?
A: No, I don’t. I don’t make lunch and dinner, too. So I eat them at the restaurant.
B: That’s bad! You should try a recipe for chicken soup. Anyway, when do you ride your motorcycle?
A: Sure. I ride my motorcycle on the weekend, but sometimes I drive my car.
B: Great! By the way, do you go to the club? And what do you do in the afternoon?
A: Wow Yes, I do. I go to the club with my best friends on Saturday evening. At 5 o´clock, I watch a
movie and drink soda.
B: Do you watch a movie at home? And what time do you read books?
A: No, I don’t. My parents and I go to the cinema on Sundays. I read books at thirty past seven. I love
horror, suspense, action and romance genres.
B: You have a good time together. Do you play football on weekdays?
A: No, I don’t. I have swimming lessons those days at 3p.m. Well, I’ve got to go. I have to take the bus
and shop at the mall.
