1. Pursuant to NDRRMC Memorandum No. 21, s. 2022 “Conduct of the CY 2022


Quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill”, offices and schools across all
levels of the Department are enjoined to participate in the 2022 1st Quarter
Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

2. Due to the limitations in the conduct of mass gatherings and adherence to


health protocols, NSED exercises requiring physical interaction, particularly
evacuation drills in division office and schools are hereby suspended. However,
all DepEd personnel and learners are enjoined to practice the “duck, cover, and
hold” procedure simultaneously at the set time.

3. Proper documentation and post-activity evaluation are required. Therefore, all


schools are advised to make necessary preparations, so that the required reports are
submitted on time.

4. The School DRRM Coordinators shall fill-out a Google form link:
https://bit.ly/MindanaoSchools1Q. All responses will be emailed automatically. The
School DRRM Coordinators shall accomplish the Google form not later than five (5)
working days after quarterly NSED.

5. Moreover, a copy of the DepEd NSED banner and other materials can be
accessed through https://bit.ly/DepEdNSED2022. All are enjoined to promote the
NSED social media activities and IEC materials released by the DepEd DRRMS
facebook page.
