Grade Level Standard Our faith calls us to listen and respond with action to the message of Jesus as revealed in the New Testament.
UNIT 1: Becoming a Responsible Adolescent Rooted in Christ.
Content Standard The student demonstrates an understanding of the expected abilities and behaviors during
adolescence, talents and abilities, interests, and responsibilities during adolescence.
Performance Standard The student is able to perform the appropriate steps and activities in cultivating the different developmental tasks during adolescence,

1. Hallowed be Thy Name. With their own partner, let them
discuss the following: What does “hallowed” mean? How can
you keep Holy God’s name? What can you avoid doing?
2. Thy Kingdom come. Join with a new partner and discuss the
following: What can you do today to help God’s kingdom come
into your home? Into your school?
3. Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Join with a new
partner, What is God’s will for you today? Name some things
you expect to do, and plan them with love for God, for yourself
and for others?

B. Reflection.
- After the think-pair-share activity, let the students answer the
reflection individually:
What can you do today to repay God’s love for you?

III. Integration

what you need?

full-time job to look for ways to steer us from the right path and
onto the wrong one. The devil has no power over God and when
we pray to God for protection against all that is evil, He will
shield us — always.
