Description:
A CT I VIT Y:
Description/ In response to DepEd Order No. 36, s. 2017, or the so-called “Policy Guidelines on Awards
Rationale: and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program,” the Regional Office through
Regional Memorandum No. 66, s. 2017, launched the Regional Portfolio Day. This activity
aims to display or feature learners’ outputs through a Bazaar. The Portfolio Day has been
institutionalized in the schools throughout the region and was scheduled during the Card-
giving day of each quarter of the school year in compliance with the School Calendar.

It is in this light that the school conducted the Portfolio Day or aptly called as “Tabo sa
Kinaadman” in the Division of Southern Leyte. This quarter’s portfolio day has been
scheduled in January 26, 2019.
Objectives:  To showcase the products/outputs/projects and performance of the learners for
the third quarter of SY 2018-2019
 To distribute the Form 9 (Report Card) to the parents
 To hold recognition program of honorees and awardees for the third quarter
 To conduct the Early Registration of incoming Junior High School Learners for the
school year 2019-2020.

HI G HLI G HT S:
 Parents were able to view the exhibits of learners’ outputs and performance in
the different subject areas. They expressed their appreciation of the displays and
encouraged the teachers to display more outputs from their students. Some were
also overheard to have encouraged their child to continue to do better so their
outputs will also be displayed in the next quarter.
 Student-honorees and awardees were given recognition and encouraged to do
better in the next quarter. Parents were there to receive the certificates of
recognition for their children.
 Report cards were distributed to the parents and feedback was given to each at
parent regarding the performance of their child.
 And at the same time, we held an Early Registration to determine possible
problems and needed preparations for the coming academic year.
