WIRE CUT TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE


SUBSTANCE Regarding to operate the Recover file at the C:>
MODLE GENERTOR SOFTWARE VER. HARDWARE VER REMARKS

NOTE: Clean the floppy driver by “disk driver cleaner kit”, before updating software
version. It might be dirty inside since the floppy driver has been long time not
use. It will be hurt your floppy disk, therefore you must clean the floppy driver.

1) Copy the machine parameter of original controller to A: disc. Procedures as following:


Before update you must record some parameters for check after you finish updating.
1) H parameters 500~550
2) System parameter (check with parameter list sheet, put in the folder inside
power cabinet, if the data list sheet already loss please record by manual)

A: If the controller is not under C:\>, Press HELP→F8→F10 and key in “1018”
password to go to DOS, C:\>
(Note: No need to do execute the above procedure if controller is already under
C:\>)

B: Or you could reboot the machine, then immediately press the ESC key don’t
releasethen the controller will go to C:\

C: If you could not go to “C” driver of above two way, you could change the
BIOS setting, then form A driver start the controller. (Please use disk
within DOS software)
When you reboot the machine please immediate to press the "DEL", then the system will stop to
run the software and escape to BIOS setting screen.==>Into the Advance Bios Features to
change the First Boot device==>A: .
Password:0322 

1. Put the new disc (Must be formatted) insert to A: drive. Copy out 2files.

2. C:\>COPY C:\WCUT\DATA\SYSPARAM.DAT A:\SYSPARAM.DAT /V


(Copy system parameters to A driver)
C:\>COPY C:\WCUT\DATA\SCODE.DEF A:\SCODE.DEF /V
(Copy machining S.CODE data to a: driver)
Above two files is very important, if you replace the “DOC” or install the new
software, then you copy above two files back to C Driver, you could also comeback
the operation system and suitable which machine.

2. Key in “dir/p”enter to find out “M??????.EXE”(For example your machine number:


M809506.EXE) whether this file name is the same as machine?? Please check
Aluminum Plate of machine backside (not cabinet) If yes, go to the next step
　　“M??????.EXE”It means machine serial number.

4. C:\>COPY C:\M******.EXE A:\ /V


(Copy recover file to A drive(floppy disk) for next time the control failure use, very
important)

5.key in “C:\>M******” enter overwrite?? Select “A”then the system will


recover to original company setting.
6. Insert the disk which before you copy out from C driver. Copy back 2 files

C:\>COPY A:\SYSPARAM.DAT C:\WCUT\DATA\SYSPARAM.DAT /V


(Copy system parameters to C: drive)
C:\>COPY A:\SCODE.DEF C:\WCUT\DATA\SCODE.DEF
(Copy machining S.CODE data to C: driver)
Above two files is very important, if you replace the “DOC” or reinstall the new
software, then you copy above two files back to C Driver, you could comeback the
operation system.

7.Reboot the machine.


8.If complete the reinstall please return the BIOS setting.
