Philosophy: Holistic vs Partial Views

The document provides an introduction to philosophy of the human person. It discusses the importance of taking a holistic perspective versus a partial point of view when philosophizing. A holistic perspective looks at all aspects of a problem or situation and ties them together to form a general overview, while a partial point of view only considers some limited aspects. It also discusses the importance of asking philosophical questions that go beyond everyday questions and cover something broader and deeper. Developing a holistic or abstractive mind involves never stopping wonder and asking wise questions.
