Classroom Policy
Be a responsible college student. Instructors create learning environment, however, a student should be willing to listen, ask appropriate questions and do the work necessary to pass the course.
Attend every class. Students are required to attend all classes starting with the first meeting. Non-attendance in any required class or academic activity constitutes an absence. A student who has been absent
in at least 20% of the total class hours shall be automatically dropped from the class roll.
Get to class on time. A student shall be considered absent from class if he/she is not present within the first third fraction of the scheduled class time. In other words, a student is considered absent if he/she
arrives after:
first 60 minutes of a three-hour class
first 40 minutes of a two-hour class
first 30 minutes of a one-hour-and-a-half hour class
first 20 minutes of a one-hour class
