communication to the FleetData server are set correctly. Failing to do so may cause communication
issues and/or that the installation cannot be remotely updated.
This checklist is based on VRS firmware version 3.45

VDR Operational status Verification
After working on the signals going to the vessel VDR, a VDR operational performance check is
required to ensure the VDR is fully functional.
- If the VDR is a Danelec Marine DM100 VDR, DM100 S-VDR G2 or a Sperry Marine VM IV
VDR, perform an Operational Performance Check from the Bridge Control Panel
- If the VDR is a DM100 S-VDR, DM200/DM300 S-VDR, DM400/DM500 VDR or a Sperry
Marine VM II or VM III confirm on the Bridge Alarm Unit that the VDR is in same state as
before the installation
