ABSTRACT:-
§I was given a project to make traffic lights and super mario sounds using “TinkerCAD and Arduino”
§Also I was advised to go through all the lectures on the given topic available on the youtube channel
made by our professors “ D.I.Y LAB IIT KHARAGPUR”.
§I went through all the lectures and found them amazing and a lots of stuff to learn full of creativity.
§I learnt how to operate TinkerCAD and Arduino and an easy way to make operate circuits .
§With the help of TinkerCAD I made a softcopy of the circuit and the also got the code which was to be
uploaded on the Physical board using Arduino IDE.
§I also learnt how to operate multimeter and oscilloscope.
INTRODUCTION:-
§ There are many useful ways by which Arduino can be used by which our time and money both gets saved.
§ Some examples are:-
ØTRAFFIC LIGHTS:- These lights allow the traffic to move in the correct direction. They also stop traffic congestion from arising and
they help people to stay safe on the roads. In the absence of physical traffic police officers at intersections, the traffic lights do the
job.
ØSMART DUSTBIN:- This trashcan is smart indeed! This sensor-based bin allows you to “open” your trashcan without actually touching the lid, which is
perfect if you have your hands full or simply don’t want to make contact with a dirty lid.The Arduino-based project with an ultrasonic sensor is explained step by
step, with links to codes and parts used.
T-shirt folding robot:- This project is an autonomous t-shirt folding robot that only needs you to place your clothes on it. Using Foldimate as their inspiration, a
couple of engineering students created this prototype as a relatively affordable product.
You can build the robot’s body using 3D printed and laser cut parts, motors, and a couple of other electronics, all powered by an Arduino.
◦ UTILITY OF TINKERCAD:-
◦ TinkerCAD is a free web app for 3D design, electronics, and coding, trusted by over 50 million people around
the world. Build STEM confidence by bringing project-based learning to the classroom .
◦ Apps like TinkerCAD are very easy to use app and they make our work easy and saves a lot of time and money.
◦ By TinkerCAD we can easily make a softcopy of our physical circuit as we did in the case of traffic lights and super mario
sounds and the TinkerCAD software automatically generates the code for the softcopy so that we can run it on our physical
board.

confidence by bringing project based learning to classroom.
1) CIRCUIT REQUIREMENTS
From the project of traffic lights we wanted three bulbs of colour red , yellow , green to glow in a coordinated manner.
From the project of super mario sounds we wanted to obtain the sounds of a game named super mario which is characterized by
that special sound.
2) PARTS USED
1) ARDUINO BOARD:-Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board (often referred to as a microcontroller) and a piece of
software, or IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that runs on your computer, used to write and upload computer code to the
physical board
2) BREADBOARD:-A breadboard (sometimes called a plugblock) is used for building temporary circuits. It is useful to designers because it
allows components to be removed and replaced easily. It is useful to the person who wants to build a circuit to demonstrate its action,
then to reuse the components in another circuit.
3) LED BULBS:- These bulbs glow periodically with different colours where each bulb has its significant meaning
4) RESISTOR:-A resistor is a two terminal electric component that provides electric resistance . In electronic circuits resistors are
predominantly used to lower the flow of current ,divide voltages and block transmission signals.
5) WIRES
6)PIEZO DISC
