MAIN LT PANEL (Non -Essential Supply)
8.13 Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of cubical type LT panel suitable for 415 Volt, 3 Phase, 4
wire, 50Hz AC supply system fabricated in compartmentalised design from CRCA sheet steel of
2mm thick for frame work and covers, 3mm thick for gland plates i/c cleaning & finishing
complete with 7 tank process for powder coating in approved shade, having 1250 Amps capacity
extensible type TP & N Aluminium Alloy bus bars of high conductivity DMC/SMC bus bar supports, with
short circuit with stand capacity of 31 MVA for 1 Sec., bottom base channel of MS section not less than
100mm x 50mm x 5mm thick, fabrication shall be done in transportable section, entire panel shall have
a common copper earth bar of suitable size at the rear with 2 Nos. earth stud, solid connections
from main bus bar to switch gears with required size of Al. bus bars and control wiring with 2.5
sqmm PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable, cable alleys, cable gland plates in two half,
i/c providing and fixing following switch gears:-
(i) INCOMER : Transformer - 1,2 & 3
3 Nos. - 1000 Amps each four pole horizontal drawout type air circuit breaker of fault breaking capacity
50 kA (Ics = Icu = Icw ) for 1 sec .electrically operated (EDO), fitted with interlocked door,
automatic safety shutters, mechanical ON/OFF and service/test/isolated position indicators and
frame earthing contact, conforming to IEC 60947/IS-13947/Part-II/1993 latest version as
amended up-to-date completewith following accessories for each ACB.
EACH INCOMER WITH FOLLOWING:-
a) Independent electrical and manual spring closing mechanism - 1 No.
b) Microprocessor releases based release (EMI & EMC certified) for over current, earth fault &
short circuit protection, residual current protection, overvoltage protection current, voltage unbalance
protection, under and over frequency, reverse power with LCD display for dispaly all three current and
neutral current and Voltage, release should self powered requring no extrenal power supply over
temperature proection with minimum fault history (10 Trip) - 1 set.
c) Undervoltage release - 1 No
d) Digital Multifunction Meter with RS-485 Port. Class 1.0, 96x96 Sq.mm., (Parameter-V, I, p.f., Hz, KWH,
KVA ) with back up 6 Amps SP MCB- 1 No.

contact, conforming to IEC 60947/IS-13947/Part-II/1993 latest version as amended up-to-date

(iv) INTERLOCKING:
Electrical through advance contacts in ACB's (3 Nos. Incomers & 2 Nos. Bus couplers) interlocking
should be provided to ensure that only one supply is available at a time on each section of bus and to
eliminate any possible of accidently approaching two supplies at one bus section.
(vi) OUTGOING:
1) 2Nos. Air Circuit Breaker shall be 800A , 4 pole, 415 volt, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC Horizontal Drawout type
(MDO), front operated with Microprocessor releases based release for over current, earth fault &
short circuit protection, residual current protection, overvoltage protection current, voltage unbalance

processed for prickling, degreasing including connection and interconnection as required as per
specifications complete with following accessories including supplying and fixing of 200 KVAR
capacitor Capacitor duty contactor based switching.Dismantling cost of existing LT Panel included in
this item.

shall not be the limiting factor).
