Question Words: Question Words Are Also Called WH Questions Because They Include The Letters 'W' and 'H'

Wh-questions are questions that begin with interrogative words like who, what, when, where, why, and how. These words ask about the person, thing, time, place, reason, or manner being referred to. Examples of wh-questions include "Who's there?", "What time is it?", and "Why are you late?". Wh-words are also called question words because they begin with "wh", which stands for the letters W and H.
