Intergraph PDS DRI file support For the first time, JetStream now has support for Intergraphs PDS DRI file format. This format works as a reference file for PDS, pulling together multiple files including .dgns and .drvs, as well as coordinate and unit information, tying them all together in a single project space in JetStream.

CADPIPE (based on AutoCAD 2007) support Support for AEC Design Groups AutoCAD-based CADPIPE has now been updated in line with its latest 2007 release.

3D Studio Max 8 .nwc exporter The JetStream 3D Studio Max exporter has been updated to work with the latest version of the product. NWC files can now be exported from 3DSMax8.

ArchiCAD 10 .nwc exporter The latest version of ArchiCAD, version 10, has had its .nwc exporter updated in JetStream v5.2. NWC files can now be exported from this release.

SolidWorks 2007 file support SolidWorks file support has now been updated to the latest 2007 release.

SolidEdge v19 file support JetStream v5.2 also now supports files from the latest v19 version of SolidEdge.

Revit .nwc exporter updates Our Revit .nwc exporter has been updated to work with the latest Revit releases from Autodesk. This includes Revit Building 9.1 and Revit Structure 4.

Chinese localisation JetStream now has complete Chinese localisation in both GUI and documentation.

Unsupported Software
MicroStation DGN file batch conversion The MicroStation Batch Conversion Perl Script enables the conversion of all MicroStation DGN files contained in a directory (and sub-directories) into NavisWorks .nwc files using the MicroStation exporter. The script can be found in two locations; in the tools directory on the v5.2 CD, or as a separate tools.zip on the Product Downloads page of the bond site: http://resources.navisworks.com/bond/jetstream_upgrades.php Information on installation, requirements and usage can be found with the tool.

FindElementByID MicroStation 8 Plugin Installer (available to Bond holders from the Bond Site http://resources.navisworks.com/bond/unsupported.php) This plug-in to MicroStation helps the user find clashes easily in the originating model file, especially useful in very large and complex models when JetStreams SwitchBack is not available. The Element ID is a unique block attribute, so reporting this out from Clash Detective and then using this tool to find the elements involved makes the interference detection process considerably easier and quicker for MicroStation users.

FindEntityByHandle AutoCAD Plugin Installer (available to Bond holders from the Bond Site http://resources.navisworks.com/bond/unsupported.php) This plug-in to AutoCAD has been updated to support AutoCAD2007 and helps the user find clashes easily in the originating model file, especially useful in very large and complex models when JetStreams SwitchBack is not available. EULA
End User License Agreement (EULA) changes in JetStream v5.2 1 We recognise that our product is used in an office environment as well as on the construction site and we changed the EULA at version 5 to allow installing the software on a desktop and laptop as well as the ability to transfer a single license between them to reflect real world, fair use by a single user in this way. The 5.2 EULA has been slightly amended to make this use clearer. 2 We have disallowed the use of any of our products for performing bureau services or for the purposes of making the Software Product available to third parties, including Web hosting or similar services, unless we have a separate agreement in place. Arguably, this is already covered by not allowing rental or loan to a third party, but it was felt that this should be explicit. 3 Updates, Crossgrades and Upgrades section has been modified. This allows for, say, competitive upgrades to take place, but the customer agrees that they must uninstall permanently the replaced product's license. This saves some legal paperwork in such cases, though we still require written acceptance of the ground rules of such programs.
