2. Illustrate ways on how the curriculum and/or subject could be localized/indigenized; and
3. Express appreciation of the need to adapt to the learners’ diversity through contextualization

SHARE GAME BASED:
A. Participants will be grouped according to subjects handled.
B. Each group will be given situation to adapt to the learners’ diversity
through contextualization of performance task for modular distance learning.
C. Sharing of answers

Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 (RA 10533), Sec. 5
The Concept of Contextualization Localization
ACTIVITY Group Activity:
A. Each group will be asked to revisit an activity/performance task in their
module that needs contextualization
B. Each group must have at least one representative to discuss their strategies
and techniques of the chosen activity
C. Other groups may raise question/s for clarification purposes after the presentation

A. The facilitator will randomly present the steps to contextualize learning solutions.
PLAN B. Each group will plan and arrange the steps properly.
C. Each group will present the step in a ladder format. First step must be in the lowest
part and so on.
D. Open forum and agreement
Clincher Group Activity:
A. Each group will be given 5 minutes to think and master 4 basic dance figures with 16
counts each.
B. When groups are ready, the facilitator will play the audio entitled “TRY EVERYTHING”
Shakira. The participants are encouraged to dance with the music.
C. Finally, they will affix their signature on the commitment wall.
“When learning gets bored,
When instruction needs contextualization,
When I feel unmotivated,
I will remind myself that I am a TEACHER,
I WILL TRY EVERYTHING!”
