SUPA SCRIPT

Good morning/afternoon, everyone. I'm excited to share with you today about SUPA I recently participated in
at Rajagiri Outreach in Kalamassery.

So, Rajagiri Outreach is a community service organization established by CMI fathers in 1988 that aims to
provide educational and social support to underprivileged communities in the Kalamassery area. Rajagiri
Outreach is dedicated to working with the diverse local communities in and around Kalamassery to promote
social responsibility and community development.

So the mission statement is : - "To empower marginalized and underprivileged communities through access to
healthcare, education, and other essential services, and to promote social justice and human dignity for all.

And coming to the Vision:- "To be a leading provider of healthcare, education, and social welfare services in the
region, and to work towards a society where every individual has access to the resources and opportunities
needed to live a healthy, dignified life.”

Over the years, Rajagiri Outreach has grown an developed in many ways;

Program extensions: Rajagiri Outreach extends its programs to a wide range of areas including

education, healthcare, community development, social justice and environmental

sustainability.

And the services they provide are:-

Educational program:

Rajagiri Outreach runs several educational programs for children and adults in disadvantaged communities.

Health commitments:

Rajagiri Outreach is implementing several health initiatives to provide essential health services to underserved
communities, including mobile clinics, health camps and awareness campaigns.

Environmental compatibility:

Rajagiri Outreach has taken several actions to promote environmental sustainability,

Community development:

Rajagiri Outreach conducts several community development assistance programs like women's empowerment
initiatives,

Social Justice:

Rajagiri Outreach has been active in promoting social justice, human rights and advocacy for marginalized
communities.

Civil protection:
Rajagiri Outreach has responded to multiple disasters and emergencies such as floods, landslides and
pandemics

Research and innovation:

Rajagiri Outreach has a dedicated team of researchers and experts working to identify emerging social issues
and develop innovative solutions to address them.

Now coming to my SUPA Activities


Calendar Designing

It was a part of jal jeevan mission .To increase awareness of the importance of safe and clean drinking water,
we set up a schedule of events.

Child Sponsorship Program

At St. Joseph's LP School Nalukettu and Kothamangalam, we set up child sponsorship programs as part of our
efforts to assist children's educational opportunities.

HPCL Training

We set up a mindfulness program in the neighborhood to promote awareness in relation to the services
promoted by Hindustan Petroleum Organization Restricted (HPCL).

Awarness class for truck drivers

this Included first aid training and some general awarness

Now its the learnings part

SO i basically understood the importance of community involvement like when people work together for a
development then sustainability will be present

Education and awareness: Promoting education and awareness can help empower people to make informed
decisions about their health, safety, and well-being.

Collaboration and coordination: i understood the importance of working together to achieve common goals
and objectives.

Personal growth and development:

Participating in social activities can help individuals develop skills, knowledge, and experiences that can
contribute to personal growth and development.

Social responsibility: Engaging in social activities can help individuals develop a sense of social responsibility,
encouraging them to take action towards creating a better world.
