5. DETAILS ABOUT PROJECT
CRM Software
i)Introduction…
 CRM stands for “Customer Relationship Management” is a well
known system for managing an Organization’s communication with
customers, clients and sales prospects .

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION 11

 This system uses technology for organizing ,synchronizing and
automating business and sales activities.

 Using CRM software we can maintain our business leads, thier

follow ups, travel time also we can send them quotation, invoice,
billing we can maintain smoothly and auto reminders and
notifiactions will always alert you to enhance your business.

 Without a proper CRM strategy, the customer information will be

all over the place ,and it’s hard to keep track of all the touch points
and interactions we had with particular customer.

 A CRM provides the visibility that your sales team needs to be

most effective. Having all lead and customer data in one place
facilitates easy handoffs between teammates if the account owner
changes–everything about an individual or company is
documented .

 The purpose of a CRM is to store and manage all data for every
kind of contact, from leads to business partners.

ii) Software requirement specification: Django

• Django is a back-end server side web

framework.
• Django is free, open source and written in Python.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION 12

• Django makes it easier to build web pages using
Python.
• It  is a high-level Python web framework that
encourages rapid development and clean, pragmatic
design.
•  It is based on MVT (Model View Template) design
pattern.

iii) Flowchart

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION 13

 CRMs connect all the data from your sales leads and customers, all
in one place. A CRM consolidates all communications (form fills,
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION 14
calls, emails, text messages, and meetings), documents, quotes,
purchases, and tasks associated with each lead and client. Your
entire team can access those details at the right time–to close a sale
or deliver outstanding service.

 A good CRM doesn’t stop at collecting information; it helps you

harness all of that data to:

 Get personal at scale, sending the right messages at the right times
to leads and clients
 Focus sales teams on the hottest prospects
 Shorten the sales cycle
 Monitor, analyze, and improve results.

6.CONCLUSION:
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION 18
The Django framework gives us a simple and reliable way to create
the course management system.

It provides powerful functionalities and concise syntax to help

programmers deal with the database, the web page and the inner logic.

The experience of developing the group component in the system

also helped me learn a lot of website development with Django. Within
the Django framework, we have successfully accomplished the
requirements of the system.

The system has significantly contributed to the company’s financial,

operational, managerial and development initiatives with a robust
customer relationship that has fostered great sale of its product.
